I always feel like Sam’s products go bad pretty fast. I did my best to pick around the moldy packages. But i brought these home and they had gone mushy and molded within a few days. I still got my use out of these as I cleaned and cut around the bad spots.

The strawberries from Sam's almost always are as tasty as they look. And sometimes they are on sale. We do have to check them from time to time to make sure we are getting the freshest ones, but that usually is not a problem. The 2 lbs size allows us to get several servings from one purchase.

The strawberries were leaking strawberry juice when I purchased them, but they looked very fresh, so I purchased them anyway. Unfortunately, there were several rotten strawberries hiding in the middle and underneath the fresh strawberries and that’s never happened before. This brand of strawberries is always super fresh and delicious, so I’ll continue to buy them:)

These strawberries were huge, but overly huge, just perfectly big and full. Flavor is very mild and crisp. Picking packs of fruit is always a gamble, and these packs have most often been full of quality strawberries, no trash. Perfect for cutting up as snacks/fruit salad, or eating as-is.

I ordered strawberries, blueberries, grapes, sparkling water and salmom. They forgot to bring the strawberries, blueberries, and grapes out. I didn't realize it until after I got home so I called and canceled that part of it. Manager was suppose to reimburse me today Saturday, 2-16-24

My husband did curbside pickup and we were very disappointed with the strawberries. We had to throw about 1/2 of them out due to soft spots, bruising and mushiness. I was always super pleased with the quality of their strawberries and price, but this is the second time we have received bad strawberries using curbside pick up. Lesson learned!!!

Sometimes Sam's strawberries are wonderful and delicious; other times, the whole shipment looks like it got bruised up, and you can't find a clamshell that has four decent strawberries in it. I don't even bother to open and check them anymore. I just glance and if I see a few bruised ones, I'm out.

These strawberries can be relied on to make your meal gorgeous. I often slice them around and in the middle of waffles or on my cereal. I take those microwave packets of strawberry flavored oatmeal and make them real with these strawberries cooked in (don't forget a packet of artificial sweetener to smooth out the tartness of the strawberries). Occasionally I luck out on softer and darker strawberries that are so sweet they don't need any help. Goldmine!

So we had ordered several 2 lb containers of strawberries to use for a church event and we noticed the ones we ordered were all very small strawberries. We were expecting the big ones like they had in the containers on the floor. We were very disappointed. I would recommend buying them from the sales floor rather than ordering online and picking up.

Don’t any of you ever watch the news or listen to the news? Driscoll‘s has been investigated and they put so many cancer, causing pesticide on their strawberries that a lot of stores are pulling them from the shelves. How dare KROGER sell such a toxic food!
