Bought this on the Wednesday before Easter. They were just as fresh and good on Easter. I wanted a dip for them, although I really don't think they needed it. I used sour cream and added a bit of powdered sugar. A big hit. Used the extra sour cream with strawberries mixed in with homemade baked tortilla chips covered with cinnamon and sugar. Yum! Yum!

The strawberries from Sam's almost always are as tasty as they look. And sometimes they are on sale. We do have to check them from time to time to make sure we are getting the freshest ones, but that usually is not a problem. The 2 lbs size allows us to get several servings from one purchase.

I usually come to Sam’s and buy my fruit because I think compared to Walmart it is far more superior. (These are the only stores I have in my town) I looked through flats of the strawberries they had and all of them were pretty dissapointing. Most were molded and just not good at all. I picked a container that I thought would be good and I got them home and they too were molded. The dates were already a week old when we looked at the flats and shouldn’t have been sold but whatever.

So we had ordered several 2 lb containers of strawberries to use for a church event and we noticed the ones we ordered were all very small strawberries. We were expecting the big ones like they had in the containers on the floor. We were very disappointed. I would recommend buying them from the sales floor rather than ordering online and picking up.

These strawberries were huge, but overly huge, just perfectly big and full. Flavor is very mild and crisp. Picking packs of fruit is always a gamble, and these packs have most often been full of quality strawberries, no trash. Perfect for cutting up as snacks/fruit salad, or eating as-is.

I bought strawberries marked from Florida. Knowing they were out of season in NE I thought they might be good coming from Florida. Was I wrong! They arrived in my delivery order mostly green and some with a tad of mold. I can’t think the shopper selected the worst package available. Too soon to buy strawberries!! Even though I had been craving them, I’ll just wait until they are in season.

I guess you can't trust the person preping yournorder to out some effort into picking out some good strawberries. I appreciate the service but was so dissapoimted when I saw most strawberries had mold on them, it was very easy to see they were moldy because it was mostly the top ones. I got some old nasty strawberries

I bought the strawberries for making jam with my rhubarb My granddaughter gobbled them up before I got the jam made They must have been really good because I had to reverse the recipe and use 4 cups of rhubarb and one of strawberries but it turned out delicious
