Skip Strawberries if You’re Doing Curbside!!

Cant trust what is selected for curbside pickup! I’ve tried here twice because what I’ve purchased in store has been wonderful. However, what I received curbside was not good. One basket was totally molded and the other had several molded berries. Both had to be trashed. What a waste of money! It’s a 20-30 minute drive to the club, so it isn’t a quick return.

Fresh strawberries

I bought a big container of fresh strawberries thinking I would eat them all before they go bad. I ended up having to toss them after a few days because they were going bad. They are sweet but for some reason they start to shrivel and dry up after a couple days or so. I also had some that were smashed because of how they were packed in the crates. I wished they were sold in smaller containers so that I didn’t have to worry about wasting them.

Good berries

Usually very good strawberries!! I try to buy organic when available/look fresh, though. Wish Driscoll's would put UPC codes on top as well as the bottom of containers of all berries. It would be easier for "scan and go" shoppers, so they don't have to flip container over. Less chance of berries opening up and spilling all over, which happens a fair amount especially with their blueberries!!

Just OK

Sam's Club has been carrying Driscoll strawberries for the last couple of weeks. It's a larger package, 2 pounds I think, about $2.50 cheaper, and much larger strawberries than the brand they normally carry, BUT aren't nearly as tasty 🙁 Hoping they'll bring back their regular brand. Driscoll is a good brand for berries in the summer months.

Great at times and other times not so much!

These are hit or miss… you can get good berries sometimes and other times not so much. At times we think they are more frozen then refrigerated. They tend to be moldy and you have to check them carefully or they turn moldy quickly once you get them nome. We have gotten refunded for them on numerous occasions. Sam’s is great about refunds for under par products,

Disappointed

If this was the first and only time this had happened I wouldn't be so bothered but although the berries looked good through the packaging once I opened them at home they were moldy and squishy. I forgot to open the container in the store before scanning but it's so cold in the room where they keep the "fresh" fruit that I only briefly checked. I also bought 2 packages of blackberries that were also moldy. The price for strawberries was good and sometimes the quality is great but more often lately I'm finding mold and/or squishy fruit.

Sam's club strawberries are HORRIBLE and MOLDY

I would NEVER shop here for fruit again none EVER, I went through 4 boxes before I found a halfways decent package of 🍓 most were old, had lots mold in them, they don't last longer than a day in the fridge, I go to RANDAZZOS way better shoot the farmers market sells better and fresher produce than Sam's club I DEFINITELY WOULDN'T RECOMMEND PRODUCE FROM SAM'S CLUB ESPECIALLY THESE STRAWBERRIES AND I'M A CHEF PLEASE DON'T BUY THESE EVER

Love these berries, healthy and good. Good buy

I have been eating strawberries every night for about 6 months. I don't know how it got started but don't feel I satisfied without a snack at night of strawberries. They have more Vit C than oranges and I love them. The ones everywhere Sam's included have been fairly good this year but still you always get some that aren't ripe in every container. The ones I just bought were good overall and most of them were the proper ripeness. Good buy as well price wise.

Very sweet and fresh

These strawberries are sweeter than the ones from the grocery store. They were all red (instead of some white ones at the bottom like the ones found in a grocery store). They were also bigger. They seemed more ripe and as a result, sweet and juicy. I highly recommend.

Truly Healthy Fresh Fruit

This may be the best fresh strawberries I have purchased for some time. First time bought from Sams but compared to the local grocery store these seemed to be fruit that still had a decent life cycle remaining. The fruit I did not eat quickly remained fresh. To me, that was quite unusual.
