Not Driscoll's Fault

On the day I purchased the strawberries it was hard to find a package that wasn't in good condition. Mold or brusied. The Driscolls isnt to blame for this rating but instead I think maybe the club was. I always find the fruit in the cooler easy to choose from as far as freshness but not on this day.....

Rotted strawberries

While these strawberries looked perfect in color and shape it was upsetting to see that while taking them out they were bad somewhat slimy and had several bad spots. It was night in day from what they looked like in the packaging. Never again will I buy them from there. Waste of money.

Bright, Juicy, and Dependably Fresh

Driscoll’s strawberries stand out for their consistent quality—vibrant red color, firm texture, and a natural sweetness that tastes like early summer. The berries are usually well‑sized with very few bruised or overripe pieces, which makes the whole container feel usable and worth the price. They hold up nicely in the fridge for several days, staying juicy without turning mushy. The flavor leans clean and bright, perfect for snacking, topping yogurt, or slicing over shortcake. When they’re at peak ripeness, they have that classic strawberry aroma that fills the kitchen the moment you open the container. For anyone who values freshness and reliability in produce, Driscoll’s continues to be one of the most trustworthy picks.

Moldy strawberries

This is the second time this season the strawberries from Sam’s have been moldy and have had to throw out the whole basket. The first time, my mom, whom I share the membership with, bought me the organic version which was moldy. I decided to get the regulars version and these still started molding and smelling rotten within 2 days of purchasing!

Fresh and delicious

The very best way to check for freshness is to smell the outer container. If they smell like ripe strawberries, they are most likely perfect. If there is very little strawberry smell, they aren't ripe enough. If they smell like wine....well, they're a little over ripe! Sam's strawberries are about the best you'll find anywhere (except maybe a strawberry farm). You can't miss with these berries!

Delicious

These are my go to berries for years. Always huge and bright red great for smoothie and salad. I freeze them to ensure I can use them beyond refrigerated stay.

A brand I trust

I love the Driscoll brand of strawberries. Sometimes strawberries can be kind of flavorless, but I’ve never had that issue when I have picked the Driscoll brand.

Strawberry Time!

Large strawberries to eat. Icut them up and put in a container for strawberries on ice cream, jello strawberry pie, and strawberry shortcake. Summer Bliss!

Good and bad

These are hard to rate. Some are good. This past time a whole container had mold within a day. They also seemed like they had froze at one point.
