No Drum Light
My new washer and dryer was delivered today and I've already done a load of laundry. Washer is great, dryer is too but where is the drum light? The book says there is a toggle to turn it on but doesn't show where and I can't find anything on the machine. The model is DVE45T3200W .

Failed after 3 years
samsung dryer worked ok for several tears. warrenty expired, and then controls stopped working correctly. stop/start did not function (have to open door to stop spinning... even keeps turning when off). tried reset, turned off child lock etc. repairman sez over $200 for part and over $300 to replace board. disappointed to see it fail after 3 years normal use.
I can understand your frustration with your dryer not turning off. I would feel the same way. We're happy you took the time to share your experience. I wish it were under better circumstances, however. The best course of action right now would be setting up a service repair. I know setting up a service can be costly. If you would like to call around to other service centers in your area. You can use this link below. ^Pat https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/locations/
Capacity and Noise Level
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Capacity and noise level are the highlights of this set. I’m comparing to my old set which I inherited with the purchase of our home. We’ve been able to almost double the load size with this new dryer. Before we would need to limit our washer load because the dryer would not handle a full load from the washer. Our installer broke the water valve handle when installing the new washer so he was only able to install the dryer, which is silent and amazing! Once the valve is repair and washer is installed I will update my review.
Awsome dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer was part of a combo washer/dryer we installed last week and both work amazingly. The dryer works fast and is very quiet. I was able to remove the lent filter for cleaning with ease. It has sensor dry technology that senses the dryness levels and helps save energy. The dryer comes with many preset options for any drying needs. You can control the temperature as well as the timing. The capacity of this dryer is incredible, with (7.2 cu. ft.). This is incredibly handy for large families and large drying loads, without risk of finding clothes still wet at the end of the cycle. This helps save you time and energy as you are doing less loads. Thank you Samsung!
Bad lint Trap!
We have this dryer, the lint trap behind the door is terrible. Every time I open it to clean out , lint falls out of it and gets on my floor. Make a better lint trap that is easy clean no extra mess when used. On our old dryer that had a lint trap on top of the dryer and was much larger worked perfectly to clean and did not have to pop open to clean and did not have lint falling out all over the place.
Hi Scott, This is an excellent suggestion of having the lint filter back on top of the dryer; let us go ahead and provide our engineer with your excellent suggestion and see if it would be an option in the next models. To help clean the lint filter please watch the instructional video below Clean the Lint Filter on your Samsung Dryer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T5En60U_Uao Should you need more assistance, please feel free to get back to us via the following options: 1. Sound cannot be disabled
The dryer dries fine but the sound feature cannot be turned down or disabled. This means that if the dryer cycle finishes, the chime will continue to repeat every few minutes until you open and close the door and manually turn off the dryer using the button. It doesn’t sound like that big of a deal but trust me, it is! It will literally chime all night. I would never, ever recommend this dryer or purchase this dryer again.

JUNK
Bought this 2months ago! Several items got caught in vent at back of dryer and wrapped them up tight like a tail. Damaged andwrinkled the 2 items. Rep. told me I didn't load the dryer correctly or too much clothes at one time. Very small load and I have loaded dryers for over 60 yrs. and have no idea what he meant. Let me tell Samsung the vent in the back wall of this dryer is a problem! Anyway, this dryer is junk And I am stuck with it!

This efficient dryer will save you money
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently we moved into a new house. When you buy a 20-year-old home you know you will need to update the appliances at some point - hopefully not within your first month though. So, we started to research all the latest dryers in the market and compared 7 of them. We are a household of two adults and two toddlers. With the amount of drying we have as a young family, we urgently needed a new reliable, efficient, and smart drying solution. After that extensive research, it was evident that the Samsung 3200 Series Dryer definitely was the leader in this space and the one that would meet our needs. With the most comprehensive set of features compared to similar models. Following delivery, of our new machine (the delivery guys were great and only took 20 minutes to get us up and running) it was time to give the dryer a go. Our initial load was the equivalent of 4 baskets of wet clothes. The aesthetically beautiful design is great on the eye. We love the sleek look (fitted with a child lock for enhanced safety) and the digital display with easy to understand controls. Reading the manual carefully we came across a nifty feature. We all know what it's like when something doesn't work right - this product has a Smart Care troubleshooting function that you simply access an app and the solutions to your problems are there. The dryer has an ample 7.2 cu ft capacity. The easy to understand controls give us 8 drying options including wrinkle prevent and a filter check indicator. This machine has a clean look and designed with performance in mind. For instance the enhanced drying efficiency with a powder coat interior. In general, our family is really impressed by this dryer. Through its design and performance, we are already reducing our power bills thanks to the larger capacity, drying sensors, and efficiency this product offers. We recommend you pick this amazing machine for your household drying needs.
Also wondering why no light? :(
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really like this dryer! It's geared more for medium, average loads, not so much the larger loads if you only want to have to use one cycle. We have had to run it a couple of times twice to get larger loads dry. Any of our king/queen blankets we will run through on a timed dry and pull it out, rearrange and put it back in for another 60min timed dry and depending on the thickness we generally have to just hang it to finish drying completely but that's to be expected unless you have a large capacity dryer. We have checked our dryer vents and lines just to make sure that wasn't the issue and those were clean. It dries quietly and as long as you keep your load the appropriate size it dries well and overall we really like it. We aren't crazy about the dry sensor. There are a few times we have had to restart the dryer or just use the timed dry setting to make sure a heavier amount of clothes gets dry. The clothes will tumble just right into a ball and the middle of the balled of items will still be damp. A family of five with three small children has A LOT of clothes to dry to we understand some of those larger loads probably needed to be toned down a bit in the first place. The lint trap is great! So easy to clean and it really grabs on to some of the annoying stuff that usually gets caught in the lint trap then falls out when you pull the trap out. That's not an issue for this lint trap. My biggest question is, why no light in the dryer? Its such a tiny inconvenience but once you no longer have it you realize how much you missed it. Still, we are very pleased.
Love my new dryer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was in a rental unit while our new home was being built and in the rental they had alll Samsung appliances. I usually always buy gas dryers but this time I purchased an electric one and am VERY happy with it. I'm trying to be more aware of keeping our environment more natural and not using fossil fuels. I love all of my Samsung appliances at our new home and also in a condo we have in Florida.
