I feel like I've tried everything with no success. Then I read a review on Thermacell and decided to give it a try: best decision ever! In Alberta, Canada our mosquitoes are relentless (day or night). It takes less than 5 min from turning on the Thermacell and you can actually see the mosquitoes come in, hover and leave! In the very worst of mosquitoes I've needed to use 2 of these thermacells for complete protection! As you'd expect, if its windy the Thermacell isn't as effective. I highly recommend this product!!

Bought this a few weeks ago because we needed a mosquito repellent for our backyard patio. It actually seemed to make the mosquitos worse and my wife and I got bit several times after the first use. We gave it another shot a few nights later and got bit multiple times again. Yes, I read the instructions and made sure that we are using it correctly, even tried a brand new strip. It does not work. I am very disappointed in this product.

I Purchased a patio Thermacell after my Wife saw how long it worked at my neighbors house. I have had mine a year now and just bought a whole bunch of refills. This Year I bought my son with one, For the patio at his apartment. His future in-laws saw it and now they are ordering one. I use it not only on the patio but when I am washing or polishing my vehicles keeps the mosquitoes away.

The mosquitoes have been relentless this season... until I started up my patio thermacell. This company has now earned my lifetime loyalty. This is the only product you need. Stop spraying yourself just to continue to get bitten. Start up your thermacell patio leave it outside for about 15 minutes and then join it to enjoy a beautiful summer night with no bites.

Love this product. Just used it on a motorcycle trip around Lake Superior. But - I have a few suggestions. First make the cap fit underneath, so you don’t lose it. Second, make it thinner so it fits in drink holders. That way I can use it on the golf cart and the boat. Don’t get me wrong - love it, and buying another one just like it (different color tho)

I have the old patio lanterns and bought this recently. It looks much nicer on my patio table and is easier to operate as far as switching the butane cartridge and the ignition. On the old lantern, it was hard for some people to get their fingers in the slots to open the bottom to change the cartridge. This model is much easier as you unscrew the base. It works just as well as all Thermacell products I've tried which are the only things that keep the mosquitos off of me, except for spray-on repellant, which I'd rather not use constantly. I love the design and that there is a lid, so I can leave it outside even if its raining, which happens most afternoons in our part of Florida.

So i got this to review. One of the hardest part, is to open the package. To put together and use is real simple. Works, most mosquitoes are gone after the product warms up and starts working. It's the middle of the day in Florida, haven't tried it at night. The product is okay priced, but the refills are expensive and don't last long.

- The repellent blue squares don’t last as long as I’d hoped- even when they first start turning white, they don’t keep the mosquitos away- which cuts down on the amount of time they actually work. - The refills are expensive for having to change them out often So, yes it does work, but for the amount of time and money, it doesn’t add up well.

I bought this a couple months ago and thought that I'd take a chance - that it might end up with all my other ineffective repellents - in the trash - but was tired of being eaten alive by mosquitoes so it was worth a chance. I AM SO GLAD I DID! I carry this little bugger with me every where I go. I NEVER has mosquito bites when I use this. I just bought a huge pack of refills so I'm prepared for the rest of the season. I even sent one to a friend who complained she could not get any use of her patio because of mosquitoes. She was thrilled with it too.

My dad has one since he has a pond in his backyard and it worked so well I had to by one. The mosquitos eat my daughter and husband up so bad and it really works to keep them bite free!! When I first bought it and turned it on I thought it didn’t light but after a few seconds you see the flame!! If the mosquitos love you, you need one or two of these!!
