still going strong

These tires came on my 2013 GMC 4x4 truck and I have 55000 miles on them with 8-10 k left on the tread. They ride great, no noise at all and are great in the red clay in SC where i go to hunt, I couldn't ask for any better tire on a new vehicle. I have towed a loaded car trailer about 12000 miles since purchasing my truck.

LS-2 real life review

ive gotten plenty of good use on the first set and got a touch over 51000 miles out of them. i finally replaced them today with the exact same tires. the only trouble i had is poor rain traction due to low tread life 2/32" . the rest of the tires life has been excellent because of following 100% of GM's maintenance schedule for rotates, balancing, alignments, and inflation checks once a month as listed by GM @ 30 psi. the rest of the reviews people write on these being bad tire are clueless on maintenance and proper tire care. Ive owned goodyear tires on all my vechiles from day 1 of driving and nothing will change and i am proud to know several people that make the finest tires in the country at the Akron, Ohio location.

Skeptical at first.....but now I'm on my 3rd set!

These were the tires that came on the truck originally, at 70,000 miles they finally needed to be replaced. Despite everyone else telling me "they're not a very good tire", "the have a low rating," etc. I decided to give them another shot.....after all the first set seemed to do really well, and if they sent them from the factory with this tire, then I'm sure it's just fine. Long story short.....second set lasted 85,000 Miles!!! I purchased the third set same as the last two and have actually now just put a set of these on our suburban as well! For reference, I live in Northern Wisconsin where snow/ice etc. is a regular occurrence for much of the year. Both the truck and the suburban have automatic AWD that I do turn on during the winter months....not sure if this has been helping/hurting but either way I have absolutely no complaints....especially since these are some of the "least expensive" tires out there!

In October of 2013 I purchased a new 2014 Silverado pick up

In October of 2013 I purchased a new 2014 Silverado pick up equipped with 20 inch Goodyear Eagle LS 2 tires. I currently have 98000 miles on this set of tires and I have been very happy with them. I rotate these tires every other oil change and I believe this coupled with the quality of the tire is the reason for the success of these tires. This message may not mean anything to your company but when people are fast to complain I think it is just as important to let companies know when you are happy with a product. Thanks

A very good tire. No discernible wear at 30K

This is a very good tire. I have 30K on a set and can detect no wear. I expect to get 70K or more out of these tires due in part to my gentle style of driving, keeping the tires properly inflated, regular tire rotations and correcting alignment issues should there be a need. I will update review at 60K and let you know how they are doing. Tire is quiet and grips well in corners. Tires can get a little twitchy at speed in heavy rain when water accumulates in the tire tracks of a worn highway, but I think even rain tires would do the same. If you live where there is a lot of snow, I would recommend a more aggressive tread design. No doubt there are better tires out there, but probably not for the price.

Road hazard warranty?

Went in believing the tire was covered with a road hazard warranty. The third time I went in the person said that the tire was too old and that even though it was purchased there with the warranty, they would not honor it.

Not worth the price

The tire was very cheap but only lasted 11 months with 19,000 miles (now at 3/32 tread). I had to return two tires out if 4 due to defects. Goodyear said they will help even without a wear warranty from Sams. Goodyear said they should last until 40,000 so they will prorate it. The only issue is I paid $400 these tires and now will pay $400 for more with an Eagle Sport and the prorate. $800 in 11 months. I feel like I should have stuck with my Michelins. This is the first time I have tried Goodyear and might be my last. The Sams Club employee tried to warn me about this poor quality tire but I didn't listen. I wish I would have. Not happy at all!

Easily punctured

These tires came standard on my new 2017 Acura TLX SH-AWD. The vehicle has just 3200 miles and I already have had two flat tires. Not good as now Acura vehicles do not include a spare tire. This is my 5th new Acura since 2007. In all previous models and over 150K total miles driven, only had one flat tire. Losing confidence in these tires and will be asking dealer to provide other brand tires; been stranded twice in 2 months.
