Lesson learned, put the flour in the freezer. Weevils :(

I opened both of the flours I ordered and they both had little bugs crawling in them. $18 in the trash.

King Arthur is pretty much the only flour I buy for AP, Bread, and Wheat. I was delighted to see that my local Sam’s Club is carrying the bread flour and I hope they do for a long time. It’s great for rosemary garlic bread that gets inhaled by guests and my not-so-secret ingredient in chocolate chip cookies that makes them perfectly chewy. (Tried uploading a photo and got a Network Client Error 1)

We buy this flour a couple of times a month. We bake a lot of cookies and desserts, breads %26 pizzas and go through quite a bit. This is the best price I have found. Only wish Sam’s would also carry King Arthur all purpose as well, that would save me from having to run into Walmart for that. I prefer King Arthur brand, it is better quality wheat and is not enriched! I am not celiac, but I do try to avoid folic acid for health reasons %26 King Arthur is much better for anyone sensitive.

I LOVE this flour, however I have tried ordering it several times and every time it has been delivered the bags have busted open. Sam's needs to do a better job of packing it, so dissapointed I have given up on trying to get it and they don't offer it in my local store.

I love this flour for baking sourdough however what I don’t love is every single time I order this from Sam’s it is open in the box. Every. Single. Time. I’ve had to request a refund before because it’s all been spilled out in the box. And when they reship it’s in plastic zipper bags so if it spills out of the original packaging, it doesn’t get everywhere. You would think this would be standard practice instead of having to replace product everytime this happens. And you can’t buy this in my local store so the only option is to ship.
