We loved our Windmill from the second we took it out of the box. Instructions were simple and clear. Installation was quick. We got the unit for the window of a shed that we’re using as a little homeschool room. I don’t need the space cooled 24/7, but I wasn’t sure how the unit would do with intermittent use. It’s been perfect. We turn it on when we go out there and the room is cool in a short amount of time—during a hot Texas summer. BEST PART: The unit stopped working. I tried everything. I reached out to customer service. They walked me through some steps. When we couldn’t get it working again, because it was still under the year warranty, they sent me a replacement. I’m floored that Windmill backs up the quality of their product this way. Next time I need an AC unit like this, Windmill is the brand I buy.

The windmill ac was very easy to install… the side panels make it look so much nicer than a regular ac. I love how the light from the setting change dims after a minute or two so it doesn’t shine and glow all night when trying to sleep. I love that I can control it from my phone too.

Set up was pretty straightforward , and actually easier than my old window units. I am still unsure how to install the carbon filter : there was no illustration or description of which side of the filter should face outward/inward. Other than that, it was easy breezy!

Great customer service and a wonderful quiet ac. I bought the 8,000 btu and 10,000 btu units. Both are extremely quiet and efficient. Had an issue with the original 8,000 btu unit and customer service immediately helped me troubleshoot to try and resolve the issue. (was louder than supposed to be) In order to resolve the issue a new 8,000 btu unit was sent immediately that I received in two days. Cannot say enough about how excellent and rapid the customer service team is!

We have two, one of each size for our 150-year-old family house. iPhone control is great for checking room temperature in another area in the house and cool to desired level. Design, of course, is unparalleled. We're planning to buy another once the planned window location is painted.

The Windmill was very easy to install by myself(took less that a 1/2 hour). The design is nice and clean and it quickly cools my bedroom. The controller is simple to use and easily understandable. The unit is a tad bit noisier than I would have liked. But, overall, it is a keeper and I am pleased with it.

This AC is something else. Needed this for an office that gets poor HVAC circulation. The unit cools the office several degrees within a few minutes and keeps up with the computer equipment in the room as well. Install is super easy, much easier than with a typical unit. I was up and running within 5-10 minutes from box opening to unit turning on. The wifi feature is convenient to adjust temp when not at home. The compressor is also quiet and the eco mode seems to sip electricity while keeping a comfortable temperature. Price is worth it!

We purchased two windmill units last year and have been very happy with them. They cool the room efficiently, are quiet, and look nice. We recently had a problem with one of the units and Windmill customer service was great. They were quick to respond and fix the problem.

For most people an AC is an AC. I find that the Windmill 350sf AC has all of the modern features I want and a pleasing design. But my favorite thing about purchasing from Windmill directly through their website is that they care. I had two issues that most people would typically describe as a negative experience, but the way they handled it was impressive. I felt like l was dealing with a person that cared about their job and their company. Their attention, attitude and response exceeded my expectations. I don’t know of a better company to do business with. The installation kit is one of the best I’ve seen. The unit was the best fitting window ac I’ve used. The pieces locked in better and the hardware was complete. If you’ve installed window AC’s before, you will appreciate how great this unit is. The solid, foam, trim panels that cover accordion baffles on the side of the unit can be trimmed (with the included scissors) for a sleek look, light diffusing, insulated zone. The rails for the accordion baffles have measurements on them so you know where to trim them. The app is great, the programming offers you many ways to control your cooling. It lets you see power consumption, operate it manually or pick from a variety of schedules. I’m happy to support Windmill and will share this experience with my friends. —- My only suggestion is to make the remote magnetic so that it can stick to the side of the case.

After years of using the standard AC window units, I wanted something more aesthetically pleasing, quieter, and more environmentally friendly. My Windmill AC is exactly what I wanted.
