We wanted a window unit for our 1972 split level home! Our bedroom is the last room in the house, with only one AC unit. We didn't want to go through the hassle of installing a second unit, BUT I HATED the look of all window units. Then we found Windmill! WOW. It looks amazing! You can't even tell we have a unit. It really was a "breeze" to install like they said! You won't be disappointed. Finally we can sleep without sweating all night!

Easier to install than other brands despite the instructions saying it would take 45 minutes. My wife does not like light in the room at night and this air conditioner is perfect as their is very little light. The windmill air conditioner is quiet and that helps when trying to go to sleep. Best air conditioner we have ever purchased.

The Windmill works really well and was SUPER easy install. I do wish that it was quieter when running. The advertisements really pushed how quiet it is and to me it sounds as loud as our other cheaper unit. I do like that I can turn it on using the app though! As a cat owner, it’s been comforting during these hot days that I can see the temperature and turn it on while I’m away.

I purchased an ac unit, it arrived and when I tried to use it, it sounded defective. I emailed customer service, sent a video of what my unit was doing. They responded almost immediate, I was so surprised and thankful! We preformed some trouble shootings and the unit was deemed defective. They sent me a new one within a few days. Hands down the easiest, most helpful, and very effective customer service. I love my Windmill, I’m slowing growing my collection. = )

I ordered an 8,000btu WhisperTech Unit for my bedroom after reading other's reviews. The unit I received was very quiet, but had an odd vibration noise that I didn't feel was consistent with the reviews. I reached out via Facebook messenger about my concern, and received an IMMEDIATE response. I was assured that this shouldn't be happening and a new unit was shipped immediately, along with a free return label for the defective one. The second unit had the same issue, but louder. Again, they immediately worked to make it right. The third unit works great and is remarkably quiet. It cools my room quickly, was super easy to install, and the app is also great. I'll likely be buying more for other rooms in my house.

We ordered a windmill because I’m incredible noise sensitive and our ac sits basically at head level when we’re on our couch. We ordered our first windmill and it was quiet, but something was off. It clicked or made a weird motor sound. It drove me crazy. I reached out to customer service for some help and they were immediately there with me. Within a few days we determined it was likely a malfunction and they had a new one on its way to me asap. The next one was so quiet and amazing. We love it and might. It more in the future!

I love my new AC! I got the 12,000 BTU one because I have about 1,500 sq ft down stairs. It cools the whole place very easily! I love having the app on my phone to allow me to turn it on when I'm on my way home. I just purchased another one for my upstairs area! Super easy to install in the window and it's nice to have the winter cover so I don't have to remove it from the window. Just need the 12,000 BTU cover to come back in stock to get one!

I had a problem with my 8300 windmill following a terrible electric storm. I went online and was in contact with windmill support team where they had try a few things but it was quickly determined I needed a new unit. They took my address and mailed me my new unit. This is the 3rd windmill unit I have in my home and when the Friedricks units go upstairs I will replace them with 2 more windmill units. Love the build the ease on installation and how cool it looks

I am amazed and in love with my windmill. Theresa ECO setting is perfect for my needs, and the phone app makes it easy to turn off when I leave for work and turn back on a couple of hours before I come home. No more blasting the tv to hear over the old clunky one that used to live in my window. Clean lines, a sleek design, and great functionality make it an outstanding purchase. The customer service went out of their way to be helpful and they came through for me with flying colors. Shipping from Fed Ex left a lot to be desired as the driver dropped the unit from his truck onto the driveway. I filed a complaint with them. I would recommend being home to accept the delivery, and watching or directing the driver to handle it with care and keep it “this side up”

hi, we are having some trouble with our unit. When put below mode fan 3 it rumbles and vibrates very loud to the point it is shaking our wall and windows in the bedroom. We also didn't receive the metal attachments to be able to screw it to the window. We purchased the 10,000 btu unit in hopes it would cool down both our small bedroom and living room but this also isn't happening.
