Couldn’t believe it was on. The sound level is incredibly low and at its noisiest sounds like a light rain outside. I don’t have to use sound proof headphones to take phone calls anymore. It cools the room quickly, keeps it cool and is a complete life changer. So glad it’s now in my life!! Windmill rocks! Worth every penny.

The Customer service team was super helpful with a little installation issue I had. So far, I am super happy with my windmill ac. It looks amazing. One of my only suggestions would be the ability to have more than 3 fan speeds. Mostly just a couple of quieter ones. When I sleep the first level isn't so bad, but while I'm awake doing things it would be nice for it to be just a little bit quieter.

We wanted a window unit for our 1972 split level home! Our bedroom is the last room in the house, with only one AC unit. We didn't want to go through the hassle of installing a second unit, BUT I HATED the look of all window units. Then we found Windmill! WOW. It looks amazing! You can't even tell we have a unit. It really was a "breeze" to install like they said! You won't be disappointed. Finally we can sleep without sweating all night!

My husband and I recently purchased a unit for our bedroom and we absolutely love it! It’s beautiful and so functional—from the packaging to the actual setup and use of it! We’d recommend this to anyone. It’s so worth the buy. We’ve purchased a few AC’s throughout the years and we’ve always had leaks because the AC units don’t fit perfectly into the window and it’s ruined our walls—this is not an issue at all with Windmill. Truly an amazing product!

I recently bought two of these - 6000 BTU for my bedroom and 8000 BTU for the rest of the apartment. They look great in my windows and cool the rooms down quickly. I love that I can turn them on/off from the app so I'm not walking into a swampy hellscape when I get home. Also, really underrated feature - the cool air comes out of the top of the unit rather than blasting straight out the front.

As noted in my review title I installed the first unit but then it was making a really loud noise (way worse than my former regular type AC). I reached out to customer service, who were excellent (I sent them videos and they agreed something wasn't right), and totally on top of everything. I did need to rebox the unit (at 70lbs no easy task) but Windmill sent a shipping label and arranged to have FedEx come to my home to pick it up, which was great, and sent a replacement unit that came very quickly. The replacement unit works very well - it is very quiet as advertised (not silent, that's not possible), but sometimes I do actually forget its on when walking in from another room. So very happy with the replacement unit! One note, unlike other A/Cs, this unit does seem more "precious" or prone to damage, so you need to really handle it carefully to ensure it functions properly, but overall, very happy with the upgrade, and still very happy I went with Windmill!

We have two, one of each size for our 150-year-old family house. iPhone control is great for checking room temperature in another area in the house and cool to desired level. Design, of course, is unparalleled. We're planning to buy another once the planned window location is painted.

Great AC. My second windmill. 1st was 8000 btu. The air blows out at 47 degrees! Wow it is cold and extremely easy to install. Ready right out of the box with everything you need to seal up window and cover gaps —Eve has the scissors you’ll need. My 2nd windmill is the 12000 btu. It’s just as cold. When I plugged it in and turned it on, I thought it was broken. I checked the surge suppressor and plug outlet but nothing changed I thought…. The room began to get cool and I realized —-It was running!!! It’s the quietest AC I have ever seen or imagined! At least 9 x quieter as advertised. It’s almost silent!!! Great Job Windmill!!!!

Shipping was quick, product was easy to install and it is churning out cool, dry air in my house. It's working fine and I am happy with it. The only reason I don't give it five stars is that that thermostat isn't quite accurate and I have to set the desired room temperature much higher than I really want it or the unit will keep running and the room will be too cool. But once I figured that out, it wasn't a problem anymore. The only other reason for the four-star rating was that the included panels for the sides of the unit aren't exactly the same height as the unit, they're just a tad shorter, so it detracts from the overall sleek aesthetics. But I am overall very happy with the unit.
