[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally replaced a pair from 2005 and I"m glad I did... so simple to use, quiet, sturdy. I love that it weighs each load individually and tells me how long it will take, so I never accidentally leave a pile of clothes in the machine by mistake.

Unfortunately the red color was discontinued; I'm getting use to the black steel but my laundry room isn't as cheery. I was terribly disappointed to discover there isn't a tub light because I wouldn't have purchased this model had I noticed prior to install, definitely a mistake. I am impressed with the Turbo Wash, and with the addition of a Sidekick I'm done with laundry in half the time. I also really like the Thin Q app, being able to check the status of my laundry from anywhere and the notifications are so helpful. I loved my old set and didn't think I'd notice a difference in performance but I definitely do. Hoping this set is as reliable as my last!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] after almost every load there is water and suds left in machine...unless i hit rinse and spin at the end of cycle i am stuck with very wet clothes i use the high spin cycle to use normal cycle forget it never ever had this problem with any other machine

We bought this washer one month ago and realized the softener dispenser was not working. LG responded to our concerns by checking the unit over the phone with the help of a representative. A technician followed up with a visit a few days later and fixed the issue in less than 30 minutes. The technician showed us a couple of wrong internal connections that caused the malfunction. Understandably, we were very frustrated as we had to put our time into solving a problem with a brand-new product that should've gone through rigorous quality controls. LG needs to pay attention to this. In the end, the warranty coverage worked. I will think twice in the future to buy an LG appliance.

I looked and studied W/D units for two months hoping that my 18 year old washer would make it until I made up my mind. Unit is quiet. Have had no issues. Getting connected to internet was trying t say the least. Instructions are hard to follow, but all at once it connected. No sure what i did, but really like that it tells when cycle is done. Expectations for long trouble free use will have to wait and see.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We made this purchase because our washing machine was starting to show signs of age.Our previous washer and dryer were early versions of what we replaced them with.Two years ago our motor went out on the dryer and the repairman suggested we replace motor as the rest of the machine was fine.So when our washer started to act up we figured it was time to replace.Our previous LG washer and dryer gave us 14 years of dependable troulbefree service so we didn't even consider another brand.Our old LG is in my neighbors basement now.

I can control the washer from my iPhone & I get alerts when the wash is done. No more wasted trips down to the basement to see if the wash is done! Super happy with our purchase!

I really didn’t think we needed a new set since ours was only 7 years old. Wow, was I wrong! This new LG makes my old set seem like I was washing laundry on a rock down by the river. Great new features and light years ahead in efficiency! You need this.
