It has a great selection of modes, and while we normally will use only 2 or 3 of them on a regular basis, it is nice to have the others available for special needs. We also bought a pedestal with it, which my wife loves since she doesn't have to bend down to get clothes out or verify that nothing was left in it. Great product.

We are very pleased with the washer. It is much quieter than our old washer, and although it reaches high spin speeds, remains stable without movement throughout the cycle. The end-of-cycle tune is cute and a nice alternative to a loud buzzer. Instructions were clear and helpful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the WM4000HWA Washer 3 weeks ago. This was to replace my 15 year old LG washer that bit the dust. I did my research on Consumer Reports and found that this model had an excellent review and was on the top of their recommended products. I really like the Turbo wash component and feel it does a great job getting my clothes clean. It's a very quiet machine in comparison to my last model. I also like the wifi connectivity of the machine. It notifies me when the cycle is over and takes the worry out of "forgetting about" that load of laundry. I can confirm the recommendations of Consumer Reports and consider this washer to be a great value.

We purchased the new washing machine for 2 reasons. Our old machine was showing it's age, and we wanted to go to a front loader to make doing laundry easier. Our old top loader was making it hard for my wife, a little over 5 ft was finding it a little bit harder to reach down into the washer to remove the washed clothes. The new front loader mounted on the pedestals solves that issue. The washer works well and has a lot of features. I didn't think we'd use the LG ThinQ app, but we actually like the notices it sends, and being able to see the load progress without going to the laundry room to check on them is a nice feature.

Setting up the web-based features has been daunting -- we haven't succeeded yet. The real world user manual provided with the washer is quite summary. You get a little more detail going to the online version, but fuller descriptions of the various cycles and more detail generally would be nice.

A leak was discovered quickly and parts were ordered; however the repair was delayed for another 4 weeks. Turns out the warranty period starts at the time of payment.

I love the color, the control panel, the height, and the storage underneath. I know there are features I won't ever use, like "Bright Whites" and "Delay Wash" but I do like that there's the "Tub Clean" feature, which is running now. The tub is huge, so it easily accommodates loads, which I'm sure is extremely helpful for large families, there's just 2 of us and 2 dogs. But, I must say, I can clean the dog's bedding, towels, etc. in fewer loads then I used to have to run. I'm also very pleased with how much water is removed during the spin cycle, such a complete difference from my old machine. It makes a huge difference when trying to dry towels. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I'm very happy with my new LG Washer. It works great and is beautiful to look at. I had an LG previously and had been happy with it so decided to go with this brand again. My old one was about 10 years old and got very moldy, so needed a new one. I'll take better care of this one so hopefully no mold.
