[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I moved into a rental home that had no washer or dryer. I bought this washer because it is the newest version of my old favorite. Very reliable, very efficient, very effective. I love that the settings are so customizable.

We've had this washer about 3 months. It's done a great job so far with no problems. It's very quiet and it's nice to get notifications when it's done so the clothes don't sit in the washer for too long. It spins great, so well in fact the laundry often sticks to the metal drum. This helps in drying the laundry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the washer 2 months ago and it does the job, sometimes it stops on the jeans even if its only 3 pairs and I have to restart it. It had a scratch and they were suppose to send me a card but never did.

I read reviews on Consumer Reports and selected this model based on the reviews which were maybe the highest of the washers rated. I have to say that it lives up to the reviews. Quiet, no vibration, many options for types of laundry, uses way less water than my old top load washer. I have nothing but good things to say. I am still leaning all of the settings and have not connected to WIFI yet, so a little more to do before I am fully functional.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Normally LG products are reliable. However, my washer started to make a terrible noise on the spin cycles. The noise was so bad that my cats were howling and found a place to hide. Although, I have to say that LG customer service dispatched a technician to troubleshoot the problem. The drum drive bearing froze. I needed a new drum with a new bearing and electrical stator. Th LG Technician had it working in a few hours once the parts came in. The technician stated that this type of problem was virtually unheard of especially on a new machine. After two weeks without a washer all is well now. I especially like the large drum. It can hold and wash large items like blankets and small throw rugs. This washer replaced an over ten-year LG washer with direct drive. The old washer experienced the same bearing issue as my new machine, and it would not be economical to repair given the age of the washer. My LG dryer is also over ten years old and still dying away. I'll replace it when needed--in another ten years or so. Overall, the problem was a fluke and have the highest confidence in LG products.

I had to have the first one delivered be replaced with another machine since the original didn't take the product that was inserted into the tray. No sure why, I followed the directions and only filled maybe 1/2 or 3/4 to the max line. Got the new washer and all works just as I was using the other so it really was the machine, not the user. Removing one and a half star because on these new machines, you have to mix the fabric softer with warm water before adding it. Really? I have a small laundry area without a sink and so I have to go the kitchen each time to do a load of laundry to mix product with warm water. I ended up getting one of the nicer water bottles, filling just shy half way and then adding warm water to it. I shake the bottle and then add in the product. Seems like a needless task but talking to the LG rep, its the only way it won't clog up the machine. I use laundry detergent tabs so I can't speak to how that product works by adding liquid or power. As for the other half star I took off, that's because I still can't get the machine to connect to the app. Since that is a selling point and "feature", I'm annoyed by that as well. I will keep trying and maybe call an LG rep to see if they can help. Everything else in the house like smart plugs and whatnot are all connected and programed so I don't believe its a fail by me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this washer in service for only a few weeks but it has already proven to be a wise purchase. The features, including the automatic steam cycles, are topnotch, and the Turbo Wash has reduced washing times, water usage, electricity, etc., not to mention the fact that it gets the loads cleaner than the one it replaced-a five-year-old brand name HE top loader. Among all of these features perhaps the most notable is that the spin cycle extracts an incredible amount of the rinse water, thus making it easier and faster to dry the clothes--especially towels and rugs. Altogether a terrific appliance--one that is labor saving indeed.

The TurboWash saves time, the wifi tells my phone when clothes are done, and everything has come out smelling and looking better than it had before. So happy with this purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased the washer and dryer, though the dryer is backordered. I've only had the washer a little over a week and have probably already done 20 loads. Interesting, I am informed of the number of loads, the settings I choose, and most of all, time to run the tub clean cycle which I did yesterday. So far I love the machine. I had a 2 year old top loader without an agitator and that was a total nightmare. It was off balance so often, then I decided to junk it and purchased the front load LG. I have had a front loader before and really liked it. I love this one and I love the Wi-fi, the whatever intelligence, and it so far cleans quite well. Check back later, that is the true test.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this dryer about 4 weeks ago. I love the options especially the steam feature. The ability to connect your phone to this dryer, track the progress and then to be notified when the load is done is very cool.
