I just need 'what does this setting do" type stuff. The one page instructions are too basic.

The fact that they are both so big and yet small enough to fit in our extremely small laundry room made this a easy selection. Both are replacing 15 year old Kenmore Elite machines. Love the LG ThinQ smart phone features

The actual washer is superb. It is quiet. There are multiple cycles from which to choose and I've not owned it long enough to try them all. My major FRUSTRATION is with the LG company. There is NO detailed guide (Complete owner's manual) included with the washer. There is a booklet entitled Owner's Manual WASHING MACHINE that provides in depth detail r/t installation, owner maintenance, and owner troubleshooting. If the owner chooses to have MORE information regarding what EACH CYCLE does, then the owner must go to the website and either read it online OR print the information. I am NOT an individual who prefers to have my laundry accomplished WITHOUT first knowing what the cycles entail. I believe LG could afford to provide that data with the packet of data that is sealed in plastic and is inside the drum. I live in an area where there is excellent internet access. NOT ALL AREAS of the US have FAST and CONSISTENT internet coverage ALL the time. And not all folks wish to stop and go to the internet to get washing cycle info. Previously, LG provided a laminated summary sheet that was helpful. I have a LG top loader is another area of the house that has that sheet. Surely, LG could afford to provide that with appliances.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After researching several major brands I purchased this based on all the features vs the cost compared all the other washers out there. I own several LG products a few I have had for over 10 years and never had any problems, reliability was a big deal for what I was paying. This washer has a lot of features and pretty much handle any type of load you need to wash, if you suffer from allergies they have a allergy setting for that and it has made a big difference. One feature I really like is the turbo wash, if you in a bit of a hurry and need to wash a couple of items it's done in 15 minutes and ready for the dryer. The intelligence feature is great just for the fact that your kids can throw in their clothes and hit start, no more hearing MOM what do I set this on. The clothes do come out much cleaner than my old HE top load washer. Last thing LG's customer satisfaction is one of the highest on the market these days and I have never had any problems with any of my LG products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased the washer on 4/02/2021. Had to have it replaced on 5/04/2021. It was leaking water from under neat . Had a tech come out and there was a crack in the drum, so they replaced it with a new washer.

I like the front loading feature for water conservation but looked for months for a set that would fit in my 34 1/2 inch deep by 60 1/2 inch wide space. I purchased as a set and the washer and dryer fit with room to spare. The package also included the stands which I had enough height to accommodate. The design of the back of the dryer even improved the venting from the last dryer I had. I still have to replace the bifold doors with ones that swing open because I cannot open the detergent drawer all the way. Slight miscalculation on my part. I love the options on the washer. Super quiet and I feel better knowing I am using less water than my previous model, according to the technical research I did. Overall, happy, happy, happy.

I also never thought I would need an app for my washer and dryer but it is quite a great feature for those who quickly forget they are doing laundry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the washer six months ago. It's quiet and cleans well and has a large capacity. With Turbo Wash it takes about half an hour to do my load, which is not a full load---maybe three fourths full. How long it takes seems to be based on weight. The only minus is tangling with a large load that has many long sleeved items.

Oh side note: remove shipping bolts before use. We are a family of four and use our washer for clothes, bedding, towels, stuffed animals, anything that can be washed and when it comes out of the drum, it’s clean. This is a great machine. Me gusta mucho.

Washer working well. Don't like the fact I needed to get online to download complete manual. The manual included with washer contained set up instructions and very basic use. No detailed instructions. I am old school, I don't want to look everything up on an app, nor do I want a electronic devise around the washer
