Normally, I'm a back sleeper and my old bed gave me problems over the last year. My wife suggested that we invest in other bed because she notice the lack of sleep and back problem I have been suffering over the last year. We did our research over the last couple months and came to conclusion that the TEMPUR-ProAdapt Medium Hybrid was the bed for us. I have been resting much better and my back problem are resolving itself. I'm a big man and would recommend for the guys like me.

Since owning my ProAdapt Hybrid mattress I now sleep straight the night waking in pretty much the same position I feel asleep in. No more tossing and turning throughout the night. The cooling technology that is incorporated into the mattress keeps me comfortable throughout the night, no more hot spots making toss around to find a cool spot on the bed. I love my Tempur-Pedic Mattress and suggest you check them out if your in the market for a new mattress.

Im typically a stomach sleeper but I can toss and turn, I usually wake up when I toss and turn but not with this mattress I can find myself waking up on my side in the morning on a full night's rest! It's supportive to cradle my whole body, even on my back it feels comfortable and I'm not that big of a back sleeper! highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had our mattress for about a month now and are still enjoying it. Falling asleep is easy and I have not slept this well in a long time. The tempur-pro adapt mild hybrid is firm enough to be comfortable for me, but soft enough that my wife is still very happy with it. You can feel a solid base within the mattress but that feels balanced by a very soft top.

I am 34 years old and have been struggling with reoccurring back pain (from an injury that happened 7 years ago). I noticed with my last flare up that the pain was just getting worse and I'd toss and turn all night in excruciating pain (with my old mattress). I finally decided it was time to kick the old mattress to the curb and see if it was just adding to the problem... SO glad I did. I've never owned any kind of memory foam bed and I'm a side sleeper so this was a big change for me. Since the first nights sleep my back pain had completely diminished. I am a skeptical person, but it's been over 30 days now and my back/hip pain is gone. This mattress isn't too soft and it's not too firm, it's the perfect in between. I've even been falling asleep on my back (I've always been a side and tummy sleeper). I also decided to splurge and get the adjustable bed frame (they offered a good package deal), me and the hubby are quite happy with it... ;) I never leave reviews on anything but just not having to deal with the agitating back pain anymore is a pretty big deal to me, I love this mattress!!

My only regret is why I put off buying a Tempur-Pedic. Maybe because I could not find my comfort, but the new Pro Adapt firm is incredibly comfortable. Best sleep ever on the the first night with no back pain after a restful sleep. Also purchased the adjustable bases with our split King. The adjust-ability is fantastic that allows us to find our own comfortable setting. Highly recommended even though it's expensive but it's worth the money invested in it.

I'll keep this simple, this bed is amazing. Motion transfer, ZERO. Really great when your spouse hops into bed like he's doing a cannonball. No, it doesn't sleep "hot". I'm a very hot sleeper and I stay pretty neutral all night. Also, the cool touch thing doesn't matter much once you put a mattress protector and sheets on, so keep that in mind. I've never experienced the "stuck in the mud" feeling. I'm a heavier sleeper so I was worried about this, but thankfully I can turn and get out of bed just fine. You'll have an adjustment period. I've never slept on memory foam and boy is it different. Not in a bad way, but you'll think that at first. Give it a few weeks. Pricey? Yes. But totally worth every penny. We both wake up feeling well rested and have more energy throughout the day. Sleep impacts pretty much everything you do, why not make life a little better?

Bought a split king in two different firmnesses recommended by the sleep specialist. After 90 days of terrible sleep ended up swapping to a standard king or medium hybrid pro adapt and have never slept worse in my life. After almost a year now of "breaking in" it's gotten worse. Only in our 30's and now have more back and hip pain than I ever imagined. Don't sleep, tossing turning, neck back and hip pain. Absolutely terrible. Spent all the money on all the hype just to be in shock at how terrible it sleeps. Should've gone with my other options of other brands. Would not recommend

My husband and I thought we would give this mattress a try and I really like it! My hips would bother me on our old mattress, but this mattress is so....much better. We had what I call ditches (ha) from our hips and shoulders on the old one. It is not hot at all. It does take a little getting use too. Only issue I have is it's hard to change the sheets. I have my hubby help me and all is good.

Had a Tempur for years and recently replaced it - the new "firm" model is very hard and the tested "medium" is very squishy. Neither seem to be the middle of the road that the older models were and we are having difficulty getting used to the firmness of the mattresses we bought. Older now and perhaps have more joint aches and pains but we seldomly wake up refreshed but rather with exaggerated aches and pains. Would try the "medium" but not sure that would be better and don't want to be stuck with that should it not work better and we want to switch back again. The trial period is almost up and we are 'conflicted as to what to do with this very expensive and not so comfortable bed system. Also got a set of the most expensive sheets that were never opened and decided we do not need but the store refuses to take them as a return or exchange so we are stuck with nearly $400 in useless product!!! A decent product but one that requires very very careful evaluation before spending the money they demand. In our case we are not much pleased with the purchase and get poor responses from the retailer.
