(Keep in mind we are only in our 30's and active) We decided to order a Tempur-Pedic mattress sight unseen from their website based on some quick research and couldn't be happier. The mattress is perfect and we are thinking about getting them for our kids as well. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good, restful nights sleep!

This mattress seemed fantastic in the store and not at all too firm. First night it was extremely firm(hard). Have been sleeping on it three weeks and it is still extremely hard. Wake up with sore back, ribs, hips and shoulders. I would not recommend. Plan to return it after the 30 days. In the meantime cannot last more than an hour on this bed before moving to another room.

I believe that owning a Tempur-Pedic mattress and pillow that is the right one for you is the key to achieving a restful night sleep and pain free. I no longer have to go for a biweekly massage that, oftentimes, only causes more neck and back pain. What is so wonderful about my Tempur-ProAdapt mattress is that it contours to the shape of my body. There are times when I do not lay my head on my Tempur-Pedic pillows, and that is absolutely fine too if you ask me. So far, I own two mattress from Tempur-Pedic and I know without a shadow of a doubt that it is going to last me more than 20 years. With care, weekly laundry-washing, and the soft touch of Tempur-Pedic bedsheets and pillow covers, I know for a fact that IT IS GOING TO TAKE CARE OF ME! I was sleeping on a 20+ year old mattress with a down mattress topper that was getting along in years also- needing a new bed I tried everything I could lay on. After going back to the same store 4 times I decided on the Pro adapt Hybrid because of the give and bounce from the springs and the promise of sleeping cooler with the cooling cover and the cooling layer. After sleeping on this bed for 3 weeks I was still very unsure of it, it didn't feel cushy enough and it is definitely not cooler (I sleep very warm). I recently spent the night at my brothers house sleeping on a firmer tempur-pedic and now my bed feels much more comfortable in comparison. So far so good, just really wish it was actually cooler and didn't hold the heat so drastically- even with cooling sheets. I'm really liking the comfort level at this point but my lower back pain and knee pain isn't much better. Fingers crossed for continual improvement the longer I sleep on it and get used to it. Just wish I loved it the way I wanted to love my new very expensive mattress.

Bought the pro-adapt soft because we needed a soft bed. The bed we tried out in the store was sooo comfortable. Our new bed has yet to feel soft. We still toss and turn. Our old pillow top with memory foam topper was more comfortable than this bed. Unfortunately, even with the 90 day guarantee, there is not one softer. So we are stuck.

With my firm mattress, I don't get the effect of sinking into my mattress, but still get the pressure relief and conforming to my body. My body pain has gotten so much better and I actually enjoy going to bed now! Thank you Tempurpedic and would definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had Tempur mattress and pillow back in Taiwan for years and I'm very satisfied with them. After moving to here, I tried another brand of memory foam mattress. I wouldn't say it's not good but I can definitely tell which brand is better to me cause I had spine surgery couple years ago. Tempur mattress offers very good support to my body and relive the pressure of the lower back wonderfully. All I can say is I'm glad that I go back to Tempur cause their quality is always great and brings me very good sleep quality.

As a side sleeper I have suffered with waking up with tremendous shoulder pain that slowly eases throughout the morning. With my new tempurpedic the pain disappeared from the first morning. Amazing! This mattress is super comfortable and provides all the support I need.

We started out with the luxeadapt firm. That was too much sink for us. We were able to exchange for the proadapt firm and hardly any sink at all. I can roll in my sleep easily and it feels very comfortable in any sleep position although I prefer back or stomach. It's hard to imagine ever going back to spring mattress.
