I didn't choose it; the previous owner bought it to make the kitchen look updated and fancy prior to putting the house on the market. I dislike this fridge and wish I could justify replacing a brand-new fridge. I hate that you have to force the doors shut instead of just giving them a push; I hate the stupid little song it plays when a door is left ajar (I like the idea of a sensor, but why can't it be a simple beep instead of this grating melody??); I hate that it doesn't have an ice dispenser on the door; I hate that the water dispenser pours SO SLOWLY; I hate that the freezer is basically just a big drawer to dump things in, with no built-in means to properly organize; I hate that the bottom drawer in the fridge requires that both fridge doors be open if you need to open the drawer all the way; and I hate that the front is not magnetic and I have to find another way to put up important notes that I've always, throughout my entire life, stuck to the fridge with magnets. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 is that it works fine. I haven't had any problems with the temperature, and it's extremely quiet.

I tend to stock up and find that I actually have extra room. I also like that it doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb in my kitchen like the larger refrigerators.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The inverter compressor is supposed to be quiet. The reviews on this model was mostly good and many remarked on the quiet. However, the fact that the refrigerator noise is continuous and hardly ever stops (fan probably), makes any noise intolerable. Hence some of the reviews also said that, but I wanted to believe it wasn't true. It is true...hardly ever stops!! So that is way too noisy. I work from home and hear it most all the time. Also when I put a decibel meter on the refrigerator it measures between 56 and 60 when write up says it would be at 40. Only time it is at 40 is when fan is off...almost never. I'm only debating whether or not to return to Lowes because I really like the refrigerator in most every other way.

Must say the delivery was a DEBACLE, even tho the store would need to doors had to be removed to gat thru a doorway. After the delivery the Ice Maker didn,t work. After 8 days an excellent LG repair gentleman came. He was right on the MONEY as to the problem. As to the refrig itself, very similar to one removed. I do not like the second shelf in the freezer. Tried yesterday to place a package at the front of the second shelf freezer: DOWN IT WENT! There is a GAP between second shelf and front of freezer. I also have this HUMMING for maybe 3-4 hrs each day, sounds like a FOG HORN. Read my book again, sounds your refrig my make; didn't find this sound: HOPE ALL IS WELL.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent product. I use the water dispenser with filter and am now drinking tap water for the first time in years! Ice dispenser works flawless. Freezer has ample space. LED lighting and quiet operation are magnificent. I've never been a fan of stainless, but this appliance sparkles and looks beautiful in my kitchen. Combine that with a high rating in Consuner Reports and this gets five stars!

Take careful measurements. Roughly 30 wide but 36" deep! Not counter depth by any means. Obnoxious bell soon after doors are opened. Nice to be warned the door(s) is/are open, but the tone is loud and comes on too soon. This is especially annoying when cleaning the fridge (the fridge cleans up nicely, I must admit). One must open both doors to open cheeses drawer. One description I read about this fridge said it has seven sections in the two doors, but I count only six. Those sections are roomy, probably wide enough to hold a gallon milk jug ('tho the door is not the best place to store milk; it's the warmest part of the fridge due to warm air entering each time the door is opened). Also, the doors don't shut on their own! ANNOYING! No matter how much we try to raise the front of the unit so that the doors swing shut, there's something that keeps them from shutting on their own, we always have to provide a significant push on both doors in order to make sure they're shut. Most times the warning alarm goes off when the doors aren't shut completely, but if they are almost shut but not all the way, the alarm does not go off. Requires quite a yank to open, too. Maybe this is a child safety thing, but it's annoying!! I'd never purchase this unit again. BY THE WAY, for those who like to hang art on their fridge, the FRONT IS NOT MAGNETIC, the sides are magnetic. Must use STAINLESS STEEL CLEANER to wipe smidges from front in order to not leave marks.

LG French door refrigerator is the most coolest thing I have bought for my kitchen because of its stylish design, the ice maker thing and the space is just enough to store my whole Groceries.
