I like the idea of the Velcro picture hangers and I like that they snap on the wall easily and don't leave any damage to the wall when removing. I don't like that there's no variety in the shape of the strips, some of my picture frames are oddly shaped and the strips don't fit on the back easily, if at all. Also, I don't like that they are one-time use. It would be great if there were replacement sticky strips that could be applied to the back of the Velcro so they could be used more than once.

I have bought several different types of command strips and have been very disappointed. I have plaster walls, so really wanted these to work! I followed all the instructions and my items/pictures all fall — some within an hour and others after a few months. Most recently a picture fell, the glass and the frame broke.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used them a lot, but have had mixed luck with heavy items even when I used many strips. Orange peel texturing is involved a lot on the southwest so maybe a little thicker strip would be helpful if available?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a painting in my entry and because we are getting ready to paint I didn't need to poke another hole in the wall. This has worked so well that after we are done painting Command will hold up all our paintings.

I have had light weight pictures that did it exceed the weight limit for the product used. I have used several types of command products in different areas of my home. These were hung up 10 months ago and 4 of them have fallen within the past 2 weeks and broken the frames. Also damaging a picture of a deceased loved one. One of the pictures was a canvas picture and it broke the outer framework of the picture. I wanted to avoid holes in my walls by using the command products. But they didn't work as promised.

Let me begin by saving I love Command Hooks. For years I’ve looked for the best way to hang my pictures without putting large holes in my walls. The first time I used Command Hooks I was not sure if it would hold my pictures, so I hung a picture and watched it all day to see if it would fall. Guess what? It didn’t fall many days went by and the Command worked great. I changed all of the hooks in my home to Commands my house is over 2500 square feet, so that’s a lot of hooks. We had used other command products, but the pictures kept falling down due to a special paint used by the school. These picture strips hold tight to the wall and the pictures and memo board have not fallen off.

That strip technology completely caught me offcaught and amazed me of its strong stickness and how easy to install and remove it flawless without the need of hammer and nails and stud finder and no more thumb/finger sourness!

I think these are wonderful, no mess when taking down or rearranging. Easy to put up and hangs item exactly where you want. Holds a lot of weight and you can be assured that they will continue to hold. A friend asked how I hung my pictures by myself, with out help. I said "command!".

3 different pictures have all fallen when this product was used, couple of the strips came off on their own, couple had to be taken off after the other side came off on their own, took off paint and outer part of the dry wall, the room was the proper temp and the strips that had to be removed were removed according to product package instructions
