HANGING STRIPS

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a collector of all things Goofy. In all the attached photos, I only had to use just a few real nails. I used the medium hanging strips, as well as several other Command products. I spent a bit of money, but there will be minimal damage to the walls if I ever want to change the room. Keep up the great work!

Use to love & recommend

I had used these many years ago to help during earthquakes. They worked great. Two years ago, same everything, new strips because change placement of some pictures, and added some new ones. The new product, done the exact same way, on same surfaces only held for a few months. They no longer stick to my walls, even following the directions exactly. Second time I tried, I noticed the alcohol is leaving “light patches”. Seems my husband was correct, best ways are old ways. I will add, only use on clean extremely smooth surfaces. I think my very lightly textured walls might be the reason. However, there is one old picture still hanging for I believe over(?) 3 years now on same wall. Going to see how long it lasts. Seems you changed the product, the new strips are not as thick of adhesive which seemed to help them stick so well. There are slight discoloration where the old strips had been, but not really noticeable unless you are really looking. Once again, think from the alcohol.

the worst

I am so disappointed, I used the large strips to hang two drawings. I followed the directions. I used 4 strips on one frame--both drawings seem to be secure on the wall, but later on both drawings fell off the wall and as a result the glass broke. 0 Star very poor

Command Large Picture Hanging Strips

LOVE THEM, LOVE THEM, LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!!! They have been hanging on my wall for 3 years and holding up heavy pictures and a clock and have never fallen off. Twice a year I take down the clock to change the time by one hour and they still hold the pictures and clock without falling. When I put them up originally I had to remove them and reposition the hangers with NO damage to the paint or wall. THANK YOU COMMAND for such an AWESOME product. NO MORE NAIL HOLES AND PLASTER REPAIR KITS FOR THIS GIRL:-)

Definitely Holds Scrabble Letter Blocks we made!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We made out of 3” wood letters and arranged to include all of our names and the 16# Command Strips worked like magic to hang our project! As you can see it’s quite large and wide! Absolutely LOVE Command Strips. I use all sizes for my projects!

Not happy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these strips yesterday thinking it would be able to hang up my picture frame. I read the directions on the back of the box on how to even get a better hold, later that night I heard a huge crash and my brand new frame broke. I’m very disappointed because I bought these that held the most weight and now my new frame is broken.

Unreliable

These are unreliable, and the velcro comes off randomly. We had a 2lb picture frame that fell to the ground and broke. We had 2 strips attached, and the product says that these should hold up to 8lbs for 2. It mentions the temperature specifications of over 100 degrees, and ours fell when the home was only around 85-90 degrees.

Large Refill Strips

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these for the first time when I decided to make a photo collage. I was so excited to try them and see if they really held on like they said. I read the instructions and began my project. I was so happy with the results! This product is unbelievable and help made my vision come true! Thank you and this is just the beginning for projects for me. My friends saw what I did and now have asked me to do their homes as well! Happy happy customer!

For things that move and yet must stay!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Command™ Large Picture Hanging Strips to attach my dry-erase board to the fridge. I can take the board down and write my TO-PURCHASE list in any location around the house, then put the board back on the fridge so I won't miss it for shopping. I have a second TO-DO dry-erase board in the laundry room for chores - easily hung up for home-based chores, and quickly taken down if the chores are out-and-about. Put a Command™ Large Picture Hanging Strip on the back of a bleach/laundry treatment pen, then attach one to the laundry wall. Stains are out quickly and the pen stays put (and never again drops through the wire shelving to hide behind the washer). Other uses: Message boards on children's bedroom doors, try with posters on round columns at the office or school, great to hang seasonal items on walls/doors, and finally adhere to the side of pens/markers and attach near every writing surface where pens/markers are needed, never loosing them again.
