I absolutely love my Bissell steam cleaner. I have had more than a few other brand steam cleaners. None had the ease of use as my Bissell. I love the ease of filling/refilling the water tank. The cleaner mechanism moves to and around objects so easily. It goes where I want it to as opposed to other brands that seemed to have a mind of its own. Being 71 years of age, I now actually enjoy cleaning floors.

Bought this yesterday and used it on the hardwood floors. I clean my floors weekly but was shocked at how dirty the pad was after one cleaning with this Bissell. I had another steam cleaner that cost more and was much less effective. It also broke after 2 years. This Bissell is much better on several levels..I was able to clean 900 sq feet of hardwood without refilling the cup and the cord is very long. Only drawbacks are that the cup is a little awkward to remove and the pads do not wash well. Mine looks almost as dirty after being washed as it did before. Just minor issues but nothing to deter my happiness with this product. This cleaner is a definite keeper!

I cleaned my new laminate floor the day it was installed in June on my hands and knees. My husband regularly vacuums; my intentions were to mop at least every 2 weeks, but that did not happen, of course. Because I am always in a hurry, I chose a time to put the steam mop together and read how to use it (not hard at all) and proceeded to clean the floor. It was so easy to use, and the dirt on the mop cover on only the lowest setting was amazing. It's been a few days and the floor still seems clean and looks great; I love the fact that I can clean with steam quickly and easily!

I vacuum the floor first, then pour the distilled water in the canister which is rather hard to pull upward. It takes a lot of effort to clean an entire condo with two bedrooms, but afterwards the flooring shines and I feel good about my cleaning job!

Got my steam mop as a house warming gift and love it! My only complaint is today when i grabbed it water came pouring out. After taking out the tank I realized the cap had broken off inside of the mop. Think I may have pushed it down to hard last time I filled it. Looked for the replacement tank online and noticed they where out of stock, so thinking a lot of people have this problem?

I have owned three steam mops in the past 20 years and the Bissell Power Fresh is the best ever! I used to hate my kitchen tile floor which has a non-smooth surface with lots of spots for grime to accumulate. I just used the Bissell for the first time and WOW it cleaned it so well! I would highly recommend this machine!

This is thee best (and only) way to mop hardwood floors... it's pretty amazing!!! I also love the fact that it dries in minutes and it also doesn't cause a buildup of floor cleaning products since it uses distilled water only (in fact - it is already removing removing previous build ups in just 1-2 uses)! My son also has wood laminated floors and his floors don't show streaks anymore now that he mops with this same steamer. Am also going to buy another one for our camp to use on Vinyl floors!

The PowerFresh Steam Mop Model 1940 was OK but was annoying to me because everytime I unplugged it to take to another room and plug it in again I had to wait for it to heat up again. I returned it The return policy is terrible. I had to keep calling to ask for my refund. As of today I have not received the refund. It's over a month since the return.

I got to use my PowerFresh Steam Mop today for the first time, and I love it. The large mop head makes the task go so much quicker. The fresh scent pad leaves the floor with pleasant aroma when finished. The selection of steam settings allows you to make choices based on the amount of soil on the floor.

I'm a big fan of using steam to mop my floors. Have been doing this for years! My last steam mop was a Karcher which I loved! Over a year ago, I gave my Karcher to my mom & decided to get this Bissell steam mop. It was working fine until about a month ago when the water tank cap broke while I was trying to remove the tank from the unit. I know it's only $5.99 to buy a replacement cap, but with shipping, it just seems a little much for what seems to be a defect. Not happy!
