This is my first steam mop ever. I love it for the most part. There are 2 things I have a slight problem with but isn't a major deal breaker. One, I don't like that there is no on/off switch. To turn it off you have to unplug it. Two, although my cap for the water tank hasn't broken. I can possibly see it breaking in the future if one day I tighten it too tight by accident. Other than those two things I love it. I bought it because I have 2 cats, one has allergies. Everyone has allergies in our house minus our other cat and our guinea pig. I don't like using chemicals because of our alllergies. I also bought it because it's safer for our animals. Every time I got out our swiffer wet mop our cats would walk on it while it was still wet. I was worried about them getting sick from licking their paws after they walked on the floor. I was looking for a cleaner and safer alternative that wouldn't make them sick after walking on the floor. I'm a worry wart when it comes to my animals. So I heard about steam moping that cleans and sanitizes. I did some research and decided to give it a try. I'm so glad that I did. I have no regrets on buying this steam mop. It sanitizes and cleans. Plus I no longer have to worry about my cats possibly getting sick from walking on the floors if they're still wet. It gives me peace of mind. I would highly recommend.

I have owned three steam mops in the past 20 years and the Bissell Power Fresh is the best ever! I used to hate my kitchen tile floor which has a non-smooth surface with lots of spots for grime to accumulate. I just used the Bissell for the first time and WOW it cleaned it so well! I would highly recommend this machine!

This is thee best (and only) way to mop hardwood floors... it's pretty amazing!!! I also love the fact that it dries in minutes and it also doesn't cause a buildup of floor cleaning products since it uses distilled water only (in fact - it is already removing removing previous build ups in just 1-2 uses)! My son also has wood laminated floors and his floors don't show streaks anymore now that he mops with this same steamer. Am also going to buy another one for our camp to use on Vinyl floors!

About 2 years ago after installing ceramic floor tiles I soon needed a steam machine to clean the grout. I purchased another brand that had a pad system and a steam nozzle. The unit was cumbersome and took a long time to heat up and did a poor job. I had recently bought the Bissell Pet machine for carpets and was thoroughly impressed. I planned on buying the Powerfresh Steam Mop but was lucky to win one. It has exceeded all my expectaions and really cleans the grout with the built-in scrubber. This is one great cleaning machine!

When I bought this, I was a little skeptical about it, but it far exceeded my expectations! It is very fast and very easy to use. The floors shine after using, and if you use the "smelly" stuff your house smells great! I really like using the fragrance discs. And it can also convert to a carpet cleaner too, so that's a plus in my eyes.

I have had this mop for at least 4 years. I can't remember exactly when I bought it. It has been used on all of the floors in my house (hardwood and tile). It does a wonderful job of cleaning and is easy to maneuver. I bought the mop for ease of movement since I have severe back problems. If mine broke, I would buy another one. The only thing I don't like is that the microfiber pads stain and do not come white when washed. The ones I have are not worn out, but they look so bad that I am reordering. I wish disposable pads were available. I guess I can't really complain since I have been using the pads for years.

Ordered the powerfresh steam mop to replace a broken shark . I had bought a steam mop from Bissell almost 8 years ago and the pads needed to be replaced so I decided to try the shark steam mop with various pads as a matter of fact I bought 2 as family gifts and then upgraded to the vac/ steamer later . This was less than 4 years ago and all 4 sharks are now disposed of because they malfuntioned. Every Bissell product I own is still working great and is by far the best investment you can make. My powerfresh is a dream. Thankyou Bissell for producing durable products...

I purchased this steam mop 1940 after researching most steam mops on the market. I love it. Doesn't use a lot of water so your floors are just slightly damp but quick to dry. The mop itself is lightweight and easy to maneuver. I have even used it on my carpet to freshen it up, knowing it wasn't going to get real wet. I love it. I am going to buy one now for my daughter so she can have clean floors like mine.

Had this mop for about a year and a half, and then it stopped making steam properly. It would take 5 minutes or more to start making steam, if at all. This is compared to 30-45 seconds when it was functioning correctly. I always followed all instructions and used distilled water.

I vacuum the floor first, then pour the distilled water in the canister which is rather hard to pull upward. It takes a lot of effort to clean an entire condo with two bedrooms, but afterwards the flooring shines and I feel good about my cleaning job!
