The built-in dryer is super convenient, and the steam feature is a nice touch for keeping clothes fresh and wrinkle-free. It’s also surprisingly quiet, and the sleek black finish fits perfectly in my laundry space. Overall, it’s efficient, easy to use, and makes laundry less of a chore. Highly recommend!

Not a dealbreaker but it really can only handle a standard laundry basket worth of laundry. I wouldn't push the capacity. Also, the stainless steel 'graphite' is slightly darker than it appears in the photos. Other than that, so far so good. I do love that it's a one stop machine, and the design is nicer than most washer/dryers I've seen.

I love the convenience of been able to be working and just leaving a load to be washed and dry without worrying about changing over my laundry. I have learned a few things while using this combo washer. 1. Do not overload this machine as it will take a very long time to dry. 2. It works best for small and medium sized loads. My clothes have been washed very well they come out smelling clean and very fresh. I do like that I am reminded through the app to remove my laundry. I love this machine. And don’t have any complaints so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do really like this machine, but it's definitely not gonna wash and dry your normal small-ish load of laundry in two hours. They should hurry up and revise that to around 2½-3 hours for a normal load of clothes. It was also kind of stinky rubber smelling for the first dozen or so loads. I read reviews and knew it was going to be slow, and smell weird at first going into it though...and I don't have a dryer plug or vent, so I was willing to accept it...But I would go with the stacked machine, or separate washer and heat pump dryer if I had a dryer plug. It does wash excellently, it's usually very quiet (it has its loud moments during spin sometimes, and the compressor sometimes gets loud during the dry cycle), but clothes come out perfectly dry, and softer than a normal dryer! It's not completely perfect though. You do have to be diligent cleaning the lint filter, and I sometimes just vacuum the door gasket of lint before I start removing clothes. The door gasket is linty after towels and bleached clothes, especially, but I knew that getting into it. The bleach dispenser also does not get enough water to fully empty. I would prefer that I could specify two different types of detergents in the two tanks, or just not have that feature to start with as it's another thing to break. The light also can't be programmed to stay on or started from the app. Those are nit picks though that can be fixed with software updates.

The 5.0 cubic feet is huge - I can wash my king comforter no problem, and regular loads fit tons of clothes. It's super quiet and my clothes come out really clean every time. The best part is how much space it saves - no more separate washer and dryer taking up room. The smart app is actually useful (unlike other appliances I've had), and I love getting notifications when my laundry is done. My energy bills have gone down too, which is a nice bonus! The controls are easy to figure out, and everything feels really well-made. Drying takes a bit longer than a regular dryer, but I just let it run overnight. We have been using this combo unit for about a year now, and don't really have many complaints. It is both space efficient and energy efficient, and extremely convenient. It may take a little longer to wash and dry a load, but the difference is minimal, and the convenience of being able to start a load and come back a few hours later to clean, dry laundry really can't be beat. We did have one issue that required contacting LG support. The gasket on our lint filter had a manufacturing defect that prevented it from sealing properly, allowing some lint to bypass the filter and clog the condenser fins. After contacting them, they sent us a new lint filter assembly, and the pet dander filter assembly (which wasn't available when we purchased our unit) in a few days. Overall, we are incredibly happy with this purchase, and would recommend it to others.

This machine rocks! We replaced our old washer and dryer with the LGWash Combo last week and are thrilled with the upgrade. Not only does it take up less space and use less than half the electricity of the old units, but its automatic detergent/softener dispenser, filter system, and other smart features make this a super easy time-saving device. Not ready for production. Concept is awesome and there are some good things, but it seems like the maintenance issues are more of a headache than actually moving to the dryer. Lint is always on the cloths and there is a filter you have to drain all of the time so the clothes will dry. Water goes everywhere when you do this. This thing wasn't ready for mass distribution. :(

I am still discovering how to best use it, but I will share my experience thus far. Wash times are generally what I would expect from a conventional front load washer. Wash performance is exceptional. I love the auto-detergent dispensing and the Thinq app allows detergent dispensing customization, as well as many optional cycles and remote start. Let’s talk about drying. 5 cubic foot capacity means that drying with heat pump technology may take a while with large loads. A full load of towels on wash/dry takes about 3+ hours. AI wash/dry cuts this down to a little over 2 hours with no discernable loss of wash performance. Sorting and loading are essential as relates to performance. Highly recommend reading owner’s manual. Ventless installation is a game changer, and it operates on a standard 120-volt receptacle. Overall, I highly recommend this machine and can’t wait to unlock all of its capabilities.
