I have only had this printer for a couple months. Hp smart never worked and the direct connection was working, until it didn't and it now tells me I have to connect to wifi, but it wont let me do that either. I do not recommend these hp printers. I have had 3 that all stopped working.

The HP Deskjet Printer works well, is easy to use and can print in color, b & w and scan. What is not so great are the restrictions of only using the Instant Ink cartridges and the constant emails on printer usage. A monthly ink fee is charged and always varies in amount. When your ink runs low you are supposed to get immediate replacement cartridges not so. I love the printer, but cancelled the instant ink option due to the hassle.

I'm glad that I didn't review this as soon as I got it. Now that I've had it a couple of months and set it up twice to my internet and Bluetooth, I have come to not like it. It seems to start a printing job and just stop midway through. However, when it works it's good. But I never know when it's going to stop printing.

I have battled this printer almost since it was set up. At first it was terrific, quiet and quick, but now it loses the wifi connection every few minutes.It will print a title on a page and then quit. When it does print, it is often one page, not aligned or the full page and then quits. And, just now, it is printing. Has it fixed itself after 6 frustrating days?

Printer does not work. New out of the box and it needs support.
