This is the second time that the hose busted on me, in 2 years. I LOVE Shark, but this spot cleaner is not worth it. It works as good as my old Bissell that lasted me 4 years. I will not be repurchasing a new one.

I bought this machine about a month ago. I absolutely love this little carpet cleaner!! It cleans so well, love the scrub brush and the trigger. And then picks up almost all the water. The carpet was completely dry within a few hours.

My first time using it and the water spray didn't work I just hate I'm waiting for it and not what I expected I have other brand for years and work better than this one I'm just got so disappointed with this purchase

So far it's been significantly better than the bissell little green machine. I love how easy It is to use and clean and how well It cleans stains out of upholstery and carpet.

I used my new Shark portable carpet and upholstery cleaner to shampoo some dirty spots on my carpet. And I was so impressed! I will use it a lot to clean up spots on the carpet. I don't have pets, so the separate tool for cleaning pet messes won't be used. But I can see how it would be useful. Very thoughtful little addition. The machine is designed well and I'm glad I got it.

I purchased this unit 15 months ago. Spend the extra $$ for the full sized carpet cleaner so you can replace the hose when it gets holes in it! While the unit itself is easy to clean after use and the cleaning fluids work GREAT on messes and stains, it has a hose that is easily broken due to being accordion style. The hose is not replaceable (it is part of the unit body) and it is not covered under their warranty. 😲 Therefore, unless you tape up all the holes that happen with normal use, Shark expects you to just buy a brand new one!! 😡

I recently bought this item because I only have rugs upstairs in my house and I needed to find an affordable rug cleaner that I could use on for my stairs also. This cleaner is amazing!! It works so well if cleaned 3 rooms in my house and a jacket and it worked amazing on all of them!!! I’m so happy with this product

I've owned it almost a year..time for a review. Works well...just a few gripes...almost a perfect machine.. -Noisy -Hose about 2ft too short..cannot put on the floor and hit all cushions and couch area - power cord needs to be 3 to 6ft longer.. nobody has a couch next to wall outlet..you have to use extension cord.. Yup Almost perfect...even with the shortfalls ...I recommend

A little bit of history. I have rescue dogs that have some special needs. One has severe tummy issues and is elderly. The other is high anxiety after being abused. So my elderly dogs tends to vomit frequently and can not hold her pee through a whole work day anymore. Now today, I finally caved and decided to try a shark instead of Hoover. I have been a Hoover advocate for years, well not anymore. This little spot cleaner got the red dye out of my carpet that has been there for months!!! My high anxiety girl got out of her crate and got into the dye bag. I have cleaned it with my Hoover 3 times!!! This shark got it out in less than 30 seconds. I’m not freaking kidding. It got the set in blood from my dog who have hemorrhagic gastroenteritis completely out. When I mean that blood was stained in for two years and in less than 60 seconds it was freaking gone. I never write reviews and I’m definitely not paid for them. But for this once I am because I have NEVER been so amazed before. Shark for the win and forever now. Hoover who? Let’s just say once you go shark you never got back. I can’t speak of the longevity of the product as I haven’t made it but one day with it, but that one day took out months/years old stains. Highly highly recommend. I wish I had taken a before and after photo, but I didn’t know it would work this well. So my words are all I’ve got.

Have had my stain striker for about 18 months, went to take to my daughter's so she could us it and I was cleaning it up and noticed the hose was coming apart, Came on the website to look for a replacement and started reading the reviews and learned others also have the same issue and there are not replacement hoses. Very disappointed, I bought a shark because I wanted something that was going to last.
