Received this yesterday, got to try it out today. Out of the box, it is impressive, seems relatively easy to clean. It has many similar features as the 4 Bissell machines I have had, which is good except for the hose. The pet cleaner head works quite well if you get the larger chunks up with a paper towel first! I was doubtful, at first, but happy with the results! The reason I purchased this unit was because every Bissell I have had has been rendered useless due to the hose splitting at either the end where it attaches to the head or the end where it attaches to the machine. Bissell has a 1-2 yr warranty (depending on the model) and of course, the hose splits after that. I was disappointed to see the StainStriker has the same hose, and the same sort of storage for it, where clipping the hose head to the machine requires a right angle bend. for this reason, I do not clip it in place. It looks as though the StainStriker hose may be replaceable in the future, or at least I hope so! I also hope the Shark people will stand behind their product and listen to the consumer rather than ignoring the complaints and doing nothing to change the product design. I own 3 other Shark products (Lift Away, Rocket, and Handheld cordless vacuums) and though they are older, they continue to serve me very well. I would really like to find out how to become a SharkNinja tester, as I always seem to have suggestions for little tweaks to make the products better! The hose issue is the only reason I am giving it 4 stars, otherwise, I recommend the StainStriker.

I cleaned my couch, all my fabric chairs and some carpet stains all with great results. Easy to set up and use right away. Love all the different attachments which my old machine didn’t have. So many various uses. Not too heavy or hard to use.

Bought this yesterday and returned it today. I was so disappointed because I genuinely trusted the Shark brand. I used it one time and the suction was so terrible it left my rug really wet where I’d used it after trying to suction for twenty minutes to no avail. Then, it leaked all over the rug and floor overnight just sitting there. Since it didn’t suction as discussed I ended up having to use towels to try to dry everything which was more useful that this product. So disappointed. It did the opposite of what it was supposed to do- clean up a spill and stain, and left me with a huge mess to clean up because of it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this thing! We used it to clean our couches and they smell great and look clean! It has so many different attachments which is great and very quiet. It does however have a cord so it's not battery powered. But very easy to carry around.

I bought this to help remove stubborn stains from my carpet but found no difference in the stains  help I most need help to remove. It ok for like coffee or pet stains and such, but the unit is heavy, and too much trouble and expense for the stain removing power it offers.

If you have pets and rugs/carpet, you need this. 1800 sqft. worth of tile, and you know just where they're heading when they get sick? Yup, that little 48 sqft. patch of light colored floor covering. Ugh, what can we do? Well get the StainStriker, and you don't have to worry about it anymore. Super portable and easy to use. Way more convenient than any of the full size rug cleaners.

It's so easy to use, and it's incredibly lightweight and compact, which makes it easy to move around. It works SO well!! I used it on some stains on my rug and they were completely gone within seconds and had my rug looking brand new. I'm just in awe on how well (and how quickly!) this works on stains! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shark stain striker is a easy machine to use.You just put in the soap fill with water and add the oxy multiplier solution and start working the stain to remove. Scrub with the brush after you push the button for some solution and then it sucks up the dirt and stain is gone.Easy to clan out the dirty water. Used it in the truck seats worked great. The only thing is that as you spray stain remover it also sucks at the same time so you need to hold the scrub brush at an angle.
