I live downy April fresh, it reminds me of my childhood. This liquid fabric conditioner leave clothes soft, smelling great and without any static. I removed one star because my repairman told me liquid softener isn’t good for HE machines, it will cause build up in the tubes.

I usually use the laundry detergent with this added, but tried it seperately this time, and still love the results. Clothes come out soft with a long lasting scent. Easy to pour, no mess and perfect size for storing. I will continue to use and recommend to friends.

As a mom of 3 boys there clothes are not the freshest after a sports meet, or working all day. Downy fabric softener makes them come out of the drier smelling nice and clean. Buying the April Fresh liquid was the best decision of my life so far. My clothes are so soft and smell so good I think to myself, "Where have you been all my life?". I used it exactly as directed and when I went to remove my clothes from my washer, the softner had not dissolved in the water and was stuck to some of my clothes. The way in which it was stuck cannot be described as anything else other than snot-looking. I did an extra rinse and spin thinking that would help...NOPE! I had to rewash the clothes TWO MORE TIMES! I've always loved the P&G product line and have never had an issue with their products. However, I will NOT be buying Downy fabric softner. Thankfully I didn't pay for this sample or I would be even more irate!

I don't like to iron my shirts and with Downy it makes it easier because it reduces the wrinkles, and believe me that's a plus. I will continue to use Downy and recommend it to all my pals that have to iron their own shirts too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just finished doing a few loads of laundry using the Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Enhancer where I would normally use fabric softener. I have to say it works better than just using a softener. My clothes came out with a nice, fresh pleasant scent that wasn't overpowering. They were also so soft to the touch once they came out of the dryer. Another great thing about this product is that you don't have to use much for it to work. The cap comes with lines on the inside showing how much you need depending on your load size, and the amount is less than the amount of softener I usually use. I highly recommend getting this product and experiencing the multiple benefits for yourself!

I use Downy all the time, my family loves the smell and niceness it leaves on your clothes, I have 3 teenagers, so I really need this for their clothes, thank you for making such a great product, and I also love all the great scents that you make! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've honestly never used fabric softener in my daily routine. I always thought it was for the more delicate clothes. The first thing I noticed was how much fresher my laundry smelled, even sports uniforms (including the socks!) :) The April Fresh scent is "flowery", but not too overpowering. The next thing I noticed was how much softer everything was, even t-shirts that I've had for years are much softer after just the first wash. My towels also seem softer and fluffier. I will definitely be repurchasing this after I run out!

I don't understand why you would change such a warm and comfortable sense memory. It was pleasant and it was "home". Now I find it overwhelming and not pleasant at all. Why must my fabric softener overwhelm my perfume. I don't want my fabric softener to become my perfume. The long lasting scent...really?! Please bring back the old scent and my memories of home. I only chose one star....had to....not three
