[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Saturday is laundry day so it's great that Downy arrived right in the middle of laundry! I have about four to six loads today and more tomorrow. My son really liked the calming floral scent and smooth liquid texture it pours into the machine.

The scent it exudes is just amazing and that’s before opening the bottle. When i first tried it i couldn’t believe how soft my clothes were after drying cycle and they smelled so fresh and floral. The scent is really soft and not over powering, and it really did make my sheets and blankets softer and fluffier. I would use it again and again.

When I brought this product home and opened the cap, the pleasant scent filled my room. My clothes were not only soft to touch, but the scent was long-lasting and filled the air where ever I went. In fact, many people asked me what I was using to do my laundry and that's when I mentioned this great product to them! A great product and definitely a keeper!

Have always used Downy white bottle, no scent, because the scented ones are too strong, however this time I bought April Fresh to dilute with no scent so it would be just right, when I had a huge problem....sort of shocking and unbelievable, actually, but here goes....a little was on the bottom of the bottle and stained my drier. How is that possible? I am stunned. I do not want to take off the shine and ruin my new drier but this is really disgusting, how is this possible????!!!! What can I do???

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using Downy April Fresh for a couple weeks now. I'm impressed. The clothes are super soft and the scent is amazing! When I first opened the box, containing the Downy, the scent wafted out before I even removed the bottle. With it being that strong, I expected my head to start pounding. However, it was such a pleasant scent, and though strong, not over powering. My daughter was helping me. Her first words were, "It smells like flowers!” I kind of agree, but yet it's more outdoorsy than flowery. My husband and sons have no issue having their clothes smelling of this Downy. They won't use anything that smells if flowers. A couple days ago my youngest daughter was standing next to me. I noticed how nice she smelled, but had forgotten about the Downy. I just had a baby 2 weeks ago and my older daughter have been helping with the laundry. I asked one of my older daughters what that scent was. She told me she was using the Downy. I am so impressed, I will be buying this again!

I have been using Downy for quite awhile now, I have veered off and tried other brands but always seem to come back to Downy. I find this product to be affordable especially with coupons and does exactly what you want a fabric softener to do! Just having fresh towels straight out of the dryer with the April Fresh scent is just heaven in my opinion. I tested Downy® Fabric Softener for free, but all opinions are your own.

I've been a Downy user for 20 years and with my latest bottle of April Fresh with Fabric Protection I am very disappointed with the scent. It does not smell the same as it has for years. It has a strong perfumey smell that is not pleasant and unfortunately I will no longer be using it. Guess I have to find a new fabric softener.

Now I know what I was missing! My clothes used to come smelling plain and now they’re so fresh and soft! I’m sold for life. I will never go back to my old ways.

I don't know what you did to the original formula. Downy used to work great and smell nice. Now it gets all clumpy and clogs up the dispenser (which I clean frequently). You blame the thickening on temperature extremes. They must have happened during shipment to the grocery store. This never used to happen before, I would bet that you changed the formula to save money. Hard to believe that temperature is to blame, we have lived in the same climate for 50 years. I can't use this stuff and would like a refund.
