[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never tried liquid fabric softener and I was pleasantly surprised with Ultra Downy. I washed 4 loads of laundry to see how our clothes would turn out. They smelled fresh and soft. I was worried that it would be to strong of a scent but it smelled great! I also had no problem with static cling. I was very happy with this product and would highly recommend it to my friends and family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My favorite thing about the Downey April fresh liquid conditioner is the smell! It smells amazing. The major plus to that is how it makes my clothes feel. So amazingly soft. When I'm done doing laundry I just dump the clothes and my bed and lay in them, so I can smell and feel them! The small also lasts for a really long time! I will buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am always hesitate to use fabric softener because the potential of ruining my clothes (as some have done in the past). Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Enhancer does not ruin my clothes or leave a residue! My clothes are now smelling fresh days after they're washed - thanks Downy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sometimes have reactions to new products when washing my clothes, so I am a little guarded when trying them. I tested the Downy on the towels first. They smelled Downy fresh, and were soft. I am happy to report that I did not have a reaction. So I moved on to dark clothes, shirts and pants, and still good. So the firest good thing, no reaction. Second, was that everything smelled spring fresh. The other nice thing is that the clothes felt a little softer. I look forward to putting on fresh sheets on the bed, and using fresh towels. Downy gets a big thumbs up from me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never used fabric enhancers/softeners before, but decided to give Downy April Fresh a try... I'm so glad I did! It smells wonderful and keeps my family's clothes smelling freshly laundered for so much longer. Even more importantly, I've noticed a huge improvement in the feel of our clothes. Less pilling, less wrinkles, and I swear, the clothes actually feel softer. Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Enhancer is now a staple in our household.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the smell of this downy product. It leaves the laundry so soft and smelling so fresh. When I use it on the blankets they feel absolutely amazing. I love catching a whiff of it during the day when I’m doing nothing special. It’s in the fabric of my clothing and I smell it all day long. Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think from time to time we get wrapped up in new stuff, new brands, new smells and it’s not until you get the whiff of an old same old same ole that you really realize - why did I ever switch? Adowney appwara to be the same fabric softener I foratvgrew to love- a simple scent and a product that has never changed- th k you for brining me back

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as I opened up the box I was eager to try it so I immediately started a load of wash. Not only were the clothes soft, but they were of perfect amount of scent. I hate being overpowered by other fabric softeners, and this made my day. Definitely will buy and recommend.

I can't believe that you would change the formula for the April Fresh Downey. I purchased a bottle and returned it because the scent was nothing like the old scent. My husband, who never notices anything when it comes to laundry, noticed and said that it smelled bad. In my opinion, it smells like a cheap man's cologne. Please change back to the original April Fresh Downey that I love!

I miss the old scent. This new formula that has been out for a while is too strong. I open my washer after doing a load of laundry and the smell literally smacks me in the face when I open the door. I shouldn’t be choking on fumes from my bedding when trying to sleep because the fabric softener is too overpowering. On a side note— as other reviewers have mentioned, my one star review is changed to a four star review after selecting “preview” before posting.
