I've been using Downy softner since I can remember. While it's a bit pricy it seems to be worth it. The smell is great and it leaves my family's clothes soft, fresh and static free. Paired with the Downy Ball you can't go wrong. Simple to use and very effective in the fight for softer clothes! I tested Downy for free but the opinions are my own and true.

I have always been a believer in dryer sheets, it's what my mom used when I was growing up and it's what I've used for over 20 years. A few times over the years I've thought about trying liquid but I always worried it would be messy or that I'd forget to put it in the wash. I was really happy to receive this sample to try and started using it the next time I did laundry. What I noticed right away was the smell and how wonderful it was, not too heavy but very pleasant. I was also surprised to discover that it wasn't messy at all, the liquid softener is nice and thick so it pours without making a mess! And I really didn't need to worry about forgetting the softener, I just stored it right next to my detergent and found it easy and quick to add in before starting the wash. I've now used it in four loads of laundry and I love how fresh our clothes smell and I definitely notice the difference in the lack of static vs when I use a dryer sheet. We live in the high desert so it's very dry here and sometimes I need to add in 2 dryer sheets on large loads of laundry to remove all the static but this wasn't a problem for the Downy liquid. Overall I was very impressed and will be switching, after all these years, to Downy Liquid Softener!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Enhancer definitely provides a fresh scent that lasts through the day. Depending of your preference, the scent may be a bit too strong. In addition to the fresh scent, clothes are soft and smooth. I personally like this product for towels and washcloths over my every day clothes because of the strong scent. Regardless, this product works as advertised and I will use it again. I have a HE front load washer, this detergent worked just fine in my machine.

Usually we come home from the practices, and games to my whole house, and cars smelling like a gym bags. So to my amazement this product has turned my frown upside down.I have used it for 2 weeks now and I love the smell so much I even added it to a spray bottle and used it as an air freshner for my car! Using Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Conditioner has made all my clothes super soft that I have stopped using dryer sheets all together. Talk about a homerun.

Best part about it is that the scent is long-lasting and keeps are sheets and clothes smelling nice longer than what we are using before. Before trying this product I would always just use a dryer sheet but product will be my new favorite. It is also super affordable which girls on a budget LOVE ;) Definitely will purchase this product again when we run out of this bottle.

I am not gonna lie it smelled like grass and dirt topped with pudding and ketchup. I honestly only use Downy because I love the smell but oh man was I overly impressed! Her blanket came out super soft and fluffy, and even a week later still smells like heaven. Her mom tried to wash it and she told her no. She needs to take it to grandmas house to wash it!! I will take all the visits I can get and if Downy adds one for me I am Buying it in bulk!!! Amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had never used a liquid fabric softener before so I really didn’t know what to expect but I honestly wasn’t expecting much. Well, I was pleasantly surprised! For starters, my clothes smelled so fresh and the fragrance was not overwhelming. My clothes actually felt softer as well, especially the towels. I also noticed that it did prevent static as well. I did not notice any difference in wrinkle reduction, pilling and fuzz, or color protection. I honestly wasn’t checking for those issues and it may just be too soon to tell. The only issue I had was that, with my washer, I had to use the Downy ball. The ball did not always drain properly but that was not an issue with the fabric softener itself.

I've been a devout user of fabric softener sheets for years and have seriously considered switching to liquid after trying the Liquid Softener from Downy. Downy has a nice scent that is not over powering. I have had no issues with static in any of my loads of laundry, nor fading. It is so nice to have a product that works as well as it says it will.

When I use Downy it makes my clothes so soft and smell so good. I never wash my clothes unless I use Downy. I use downy everyday when I wash clothes. I love that it doesn't take much Downy poured into your washing machine and still get the great benefits of soft and clothes smelling good.
