I said no, it's my new fabric softener. She said what? That smells great. I said it's Downy.i love the way it makes my clothes smell and feel. After we had coffee and got up to leave, she said you have to tell me exactly which one you're using because my kids clothes don't come out smelling that good or their clothes that soft. I told her I'll send her a picture if it when I was doing my laundry. She was so happy when I sent her the picture!!

Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Conditioner is no exception. My clothes feel super soft and look bright and clean and my towels and sheets are cozy and snuggly. Nothing says freshly washed laundry like that fresh, lightly floral scent -- I swear by this product!

What is important is freshness, softness and keeping them looking new longer. These things don’t come from a detergent, they come from a fabric softener, and Downey is top-notch. The light scent lasts, clothes are soft, sweaters hold their shape, no static in the winter, which is big. It’s thick- not watery like some bargain brands.

We have been using Downy April Fresh for years and always satisfied with the nice scent it leaves on laundry. Also if any time we run out of it and dare to do a load of laundry without it, the difference is big and it reminds me to never go without it!

I've been a devout user of fabric softener sheets for years and have seriously considered switching to liquid after trying the Liquid Softener from Downy. A little softener really goes a long way and leaves my clothes smelly fresh.

I have used various brands of pods, but ultimately, it has negated the need for me to buy fabric sofetner seperately. I didn't think it would make a difference. After using Downy April Fresh, I must say it does make a difference. First, the scent is fabulous. I like a fresh scent, but there is a fine line between a nice scent and overpowering. This product strikes the perfect balance. I used this on a load of color tshirts first time around. My shirts came out nice and soft and fresh. The colors looked good as well, though I can't determine if that was specifically related to this product. I can say that it didn't damage the colors in any way. I have some issues with static when I use pods. I had absolutely no static after using this product on my first load, and I haven't noticed any since either. That is probably my favorite aspect of Downy April Fresh. The product claims to reduce pilling and fuzz. I can't speak to this specifically. I did not notice any specific decrease in these issues, but being unable to substantiate this claim didn't take away from its value, in my opinion. Overall, I really like this product, and I will be purchasing it in the future.

The smell was really strong when I first opened the bottle, so I assumed it would stay that strong. I was definitely wrong. It did smell good and the scent lasted all day. On top of the that the laundry I had put away still smelled fresh 2 weeks later. This is now my go to fabric softener.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm blown away at how fresh-smelling this fabric softener leaves clothes and bedding, and for an extended period of time to boot! Most days, I keep my teenage son's bedroom door closed, due to the lingering odor that comes out of there (even after his bedding and clothes are washed with our usual detergent and dried with dryer/fabric sheets) but, after washing his bedding and clothes with our usual detergent and the Downy Liquid Fabric Enhancer, leaving his door open is no longer a problem... even after several days. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whenever I think of liquid fabric softener, I always think of that iconic blue bottle of Downy. It's exactly what you'd expect a top-of-the-line fabric softener to be - a product that gets my clothes conditioned while making everything smell amazing (including my house!). To be specific, I used the 34-ounce size of Ultra Downy April Fresh. I like that it's concentrated and that I didn't have to pour a lot to get its full benefits. As a disclaimer, I know that some people might be sensitive to fragrance, and I wouldn't recommend this product to them. Other than that, this product is a great addition for anyone who uses liquid fabric softener, and I'd tell them to buy it without hesitation. When I'm reviewing products, I always like to include the backs of the bottles, just so people can see the usage directions and get the feeling you'd get if you were to walk into the store and pick up the bottle to examine it (because the front label IS pretty, but it's not very informative to a discerning consumer, like me).
