The smell is clean and lasts for weeks after washing. You don't have to use very much in order to see the benefits of using Downy over other brands. There is never any stiff fabric feeling and my dress shirts are less staticky than when using other fabric softener. I love how my clothes smell and feel fresh out of the dryer when I include Downy April Fresh in my washing routine

I have used Downy all my life (my parents and I), and am a usually a big fan. However, my most recent purchase has such an over-powering smell that feels much too strong. It is overly perfumed and lingering, and I am going to have to look at alternative products.

I get no static with my clothes. The container is easy to pour, and I like that it is ok to use in my HE washer. This is also a good value for the price. This is a must have for my family. Three kids that get dirty and sweaty. Downy leaves their clothes fresh and soft!

We have tried many different fabric softeners over the years. We always come back to Downy and particularly love Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Conditioner. Even though they were clean, drying off after a shower, there was a stink to the towel. I didn't know what to do and tried everything to get it to go away. Using Downy on my towels has helped get rid of that stinky smell!

I am a huge believer of fabric softener in every load! This conditioner is amazing. It not only smells amazing, but it definentaly makes our clothes, blankets, and towels all feel super soft! There is definitely no other option to use other then downy.

I decided to give Downy April Fresh Fabric Conditioner a try. WOW! I could smell the clean fresh scent as soon as I took them out of the wash! But the real test was seeing if the scent "survived" the dryer! Oh my goodness!! Amazing!!!! Not a single wrinkle and they smelled April Fresh! And so soft, which is a pretty difficult task on heavy duty work uniforms! Absolutely incredible!!
