Fragrance that isn’t overpowering, no residue, and long lasting softness. You really can’t go wrong. It now has a permanent place on my laundry shelf.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Downy April Fresh fabric softener made my clothes (and home!) smell amazing! I wash the bedding for my family of five on a bi-weekly basis. Downy made them so soft, I looked forward to going to bed just to wrap myself up in the blankets. April Fresh smells amazing and the scent is still on our clothes and bedding over a week later. I’m a fan for life!

I never used the original Downy April Fresh fabric softener so I can't compare the newer version with that one. I like a lot of scent on my clothes and the newer version makes our laundry smell sooo good! My current laundry combo is Tide Original, Downy April Fresh and Bounce Outdoor Fresh dryer sheets. This laundry combo makes our laundry smell fresh and clean, soft and static free. If the newer version is too strong for you, I suggest cutting it 50/50 with an unscented fabric softener (it could even be a store brand version) or using less fabric softener per load. If you still don't like the newer version, you could try Snuggle Blue Sparkle.

The Ultra Downy April Fresh fabric softner smells amazing not only when you first open it but when you put it in your laundry. I was very surpised to find that even days after cloths have been washed and and dried and put away they still have the April Fresh smell to them. I like that you do not have to use a large amount to get that fresh smell days later.

Absolutely love, this product. I always make sure I have extra on hand just in case I happen to run out. I’ve tried doing laundry without it and I just can’t live without the smell! I have extremely sensitive skin and it does not seem to bother me at all!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you could bottle the smell of spring time, Downey April Fresh would be it. Not only does the clothes smell absolutely amazing, but it's so soft. The blankets are as soft a clouds and smell terrific. Just a bonus is the prevention of static cling and fading. Love, love, love!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I personally love this product and have no idea why it took me so long to even try it! I used it first when washing my towels and they came out so much softer and smelling great! I will definitely continue to use this.

Yes - why did you change the scent? Why did you change the formula? This has a terrible stink - Downy no longer makes the laundry soft and it does leave lumpy blue stuff in the dispenser. Also, why do you use such a silly cap that when you try to pour after shaking the product runs onto or into the washing machine?. As I said it smells so bad - it makes me crabby.

I have been using Downy April Fresh for as long as I have been doing laundry. I love the fresh smell of our clothes from using Downy. A few years ago, I was disappointed when the scent pearls were added and ruined the wonderful smell. Now, I just bought a new bottle of Downy with the new "fabric protect". After washing my first load of laundry I knew right away something was not right! The scent is not the same. It's very strong and unpleasant. I want the normal Downy April Fresh back! My clothes don't smell good anymore! Why change the scent of something that everyone loves so much?

Ultra Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Conditioner My all time favorite fabric softener! I don’t think I could love a fabric softener anymore than I do this one! It reminds me of childhood memories. I love for my family’s clothes to smell fresh and not just right after they get out of the washer. This lasts and has the most pleasant scent.
