We always come back to Downy and particularly love Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Conditioner. It simply works and my family loves the smell when putting on their clothes...and strangers love it too! Move over Old Spice, this is the scent that is attractive to everyone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the new Downy for the first time on my granddaughters blanket that she drags around everywhere and cannot live without. I am not gonna lie it smelled like grass and dirt topped with pudding and ketchup. I honestly only use Downy because I love the smell but oh man was I overly impressed! Her blanket came out super soft and fluffy, and even a week later still smells like heaven. Her mom tried to wash it and she told her no. She needs to take it to grandmas house to wash it!! I will take all the visits I can get and if Downy adds one for me I am Buying it in bulk!!! Amazing!

i have always been a fan of downy but the original version doesnt last a long time on clothes after you have washed and stored them i was on a hunt for that perfect clothes softener that would not only make my clothes for but keep them smelling clean and good and this does the trick i highly recommend it. i was given this product to review for free my opinion stated is my own.

I absolutely love the Downy April Fresh Fabric Softener! I reall felt like it got the job done when it came to making my clotges smell magical and making them soft as the could be. I also noticed that the fragrance seemed to linger a few days after i washed, which i absolutely loved!. The smell was amazing, it wasnt weak or anything and it was to too strong. It was the perfect formula for my clothes. Deffinatley a recommend to my family and friends!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't used fabric softener in a long time. I am loving the Ulta Downy April Fresh fabric softener, especially for our towels and bedsheets. I enjoy the light fresh scent and happy it's not overpowering. Definitely a new addition to my laundry routine.

Even though Downy still delivers as far as softness, etc., the new smell is horrible! I started to notice it late last year and thought it was my color safe bleach. My husband developed an allergy to whatever it is they've added. The smell is overpowering and I still find clothes and sheets that have that nasty smell. I'm seeing newer reviews about how wonderful the new scent is, and quite honestly, I don't believe them. It smells like a toilet mint. Seriously. A toilet mint - and it never, ever fades away until you rewash it. It also leaves kind of a lanolin type feeling on your skin and hands - and not in a pleasant way. Bottom line - excellent product before they "improved" it. Please - go back to the old way. Who decided this was a good idea - lol? Sheesh!

Downey's not what it used to be. I can't put my finger on when it changed but it's definitely changed and not for the good. It no longer has the same softening/anti-static effect as it used to. I have to add dryer sheets also. DEFINITELY does not smell the same either. Disappointed. I suppose the younger generation won't know the difference but I'm in the middle range and KNOW what it used to be like. I'm 55 and it was a much better product even just 10-15 years ago.

I absolutely love the smell of downy and the softness is something that cannot be replicated by other brands. The April Fresh scent reminds me of a field of flowers during the Spring time which is a much welcome scent during the cold winter months. Bonus points for it fighting off static! I use it both as a fabric softener and to make my own fabric refresher (like Febreeze)I received this as a sample from Influenster but my opinions are my own.

Fragrance that isn’t overpowering, no residue, and long lasting softness. You really can’t go wrong. It now has a permanent place on my laundry shelf.

I love that it's a liquid and can do directly into the washer without having to remember to put a dryer sheet in, with three kids convenience is key. The smell is amazing and my clothes come out smelling fresh. I just pulled a shirt down after a week and it still smells like Downy!
