I received a free bottle of Downey April fresh for free to review and I am so happy I did because I now have a new favorite Downey product! The April fresh smell is delightful, my clothes and towels never smelled so good!! I will definitely being buying this product!

I've been using Downy for years and years...it's the ONLY fabric softener I have used! UNTIL NOW!! I bought Downy a few days ago...only looked for the April Fresh scent listed on it...washed my clothes, walked into my laundry room and couldn't believe the SMELL ...actually it smelled like old clothes that had been sitting around...or maybe a generic detergent! I examined the clothes...smelled my Cheer bottle...smelled the Downy and then knew what was wrong...looked at the label and saw FABRIC PROTECT! omg...it's HORRIBLE and CERTAINLY NOT APRIL FRESH! YOU GUYS MESSED UP WHEN YOU ADDED "PEARLS" a few years ago...but NOW YOU'VE LOST A CUSTOMER!!! (and by the looks of things, more than `1 ) It wasn't broke...why did you mess it up??? Unless you bring back the original/or even latest Downy, I won't be buying anymore! In fact, I'm hoping I'll be able to get my money back...going back to the store tomorrow!! THE SMELL OF THIS IS HORRIBLE....WHAT WERE YOU PEOPLE THINKING?? AND if you wash clothes properly, that will protect them enough...WE DON'T NEED YOU PROTECTING OUR CLOTHES!!!! Wondering if the dryer sheets are messed up, also??? LOOKING FOR ANOTHER FABRIC SOFTENER PRONTO!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Downy April fresh lived up to it promises. My clothes were soft, no static and seemed to have less wrinkles. However, I felt the fragrance was overpowering and lingered longer than what I expected. I would recommend Downy, but hope they lessen the amount of fragrance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have no idea why, but I've never used fabric enhancer before. I've used conventional dryer sheets, natural wet dryer sheets, and wool dryer balls. I was incredibly pleased with Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Enhancer - I gave it my first go-around with my sheets, and now I'm never going back. They smelled so good and were so soft that I immediately just wanted to lie on them. There was ZERO static. The softness and scent lasted until the next washing. I've done about ten loads of laundry with this product and I have really noticed a difference in the softness and lack of static cling. I'll have to give it a longer trial run to see if it helps maintain color - that would be a huge bonus. The only complaint I have is that the instructions said to shake the product before use. I did, and when I opened the lid to pour into the cup and dispenser, there was quite a bit of spillage.

I use this product very frequently, at least every time I do linen laundry. It smells amazing and lingers on my sheets all week. The packaging is easy to use, you only need a small amount so quite a good value for the money. I can’t speak on allergenicity but I have rather sensitive skin and haven’t had any issues with this product.

It smells like "Spring", and leaves our clothes softer than any other fabric softener we've used. Not only is this the best we've found, it's also one of the best priced products in our local stores. Our clothes don't fade with this product, and my sweaters don't get those annoying fuzzies....I wish I would have found it sooner! I highly recommend trying it out!

I received a sample of this product for free from Influenster, in exchange for my honest review. I had a huge tub of clothes that I let sit for a couple of years. The clothes had been packed since we lived in an apartment whose previous tenant smoked like a chimney, so they were packed away already smelling bad and came out smelling worse. For the last year, I've washed items but they never stayed smelling good. The stale smoke smell always came back. One wash with our low-scent homemade detergent and this Downy product, and my favorite Christmas shirts smell totally normal again, and have stayed that way for a few weeks! I'm so thrilled!

It's not my 1st rodeo w/Downy! I've use it since I was around 13,my mom uses it,my sisters use it,and I use it. I hope in the future my own daughter uses this as well!
