[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Downy Fabric Softener! I had been using dryer sheets but this stuff is amazing. Our clothes now smell wonderful and there is no static. Will definitely be purchasing more of this fabric softener in the future!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband had well water before moving in and it was very apparent when washing his clothes. Using this softener made his clothes soft again and smell fantastic! No need to do multiple loads to get the same results!

I used this in my laundry today and my clothes smell fantastic, I can really tell a difference between the intensity of the scent from the brand that I was previously using. It has "motion-activated fresheners that neutralize bad odors with with a fresh scent as as you move through your day." I absolutely love it! I received this product from Influenster for testing purposes but all opinions are my own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never been much of one to use fabric softener or add-ins in my laundry. I was ready to try some though to help make my bedding, sheets and quilts softer. The Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Enhancer smells clean and fresh. My quilt does feel softer and I hope it continues to get softer and softer after each use. I would like to see Downy make more natural enhancers, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. If you want your quilts softer and fresher then this is the stuff for you!

I've been a faithful Downy user for more then 35 years and have always loved this product. Yesterday I opened a new bottle and was overwhelmed with the floral scent. I thought I had incorrectly purchased a scent other then original April Fresh Downy, but no I hadn't. Why has the scent changed? It still performs great on static, softness, and wrinkles, but the scent is so overbearing I'm unable to wear clothes that have been rinsed in it. Please bring back the tried and true original April Fresh scent we all have loved for years... From the reviews its very apparent I'm not the only one that feels this way. Let's hope P & G hears our pleas and brings back the scent we've all known and loved for decades. I'll keep checking reviews in the hope that the original scent returns, but until it does I won't be purchasing Downy again. So disappointed to say goodbye to a favorite product I've loved for years.

I love the scent of this Downy, I will choose it over everything else. It leaves our laundry smelling so good, no static cling at all, It can be expensive. But for us it lasts a while. I do recommend you try it. You won't be disappointed. I just throw it in the washer with my laundry in the Downy ball. 

We have tried many different fabric softeners but this one by far stands out above the rest! It works well in just about any washing machine and leaves my clothes soft and smelling so fresh. We love this fabric softener and I won’t use anything else now! Definitely recommend it.

I don't know what you did to the original formula. Downy used to work great and smell nice. Now it gets all clumpy and clogs up the dispenser (which I clean frequently). You blame the thickening on temperature extremes. They must have happened during shipment to the grocery store. This never used to happen before, I would bet that you changed the formula to save money. Hard to believe that temperature is to blame, we have lived in the same climate for 50 years. I can't use this stuff and would like a refund.

I like that my clothes come out softer, less wrinkly, less staticky, and with fewer pills and fuzz. I hate when I wash clothes, and the vibrant colors are stripped away so they come out dull. Using Downy has helped retain the bright color and keep it from fading too much. And the best part is that my children especially love the April Fresh scent that lingers on their clothes and blankies after they've been washed. Would highly recommend this product!

I miss the old scent. This new formula that has been out for a while is too strong. I open my washer after doing a load of laundry and the smell literally smacks me in the face when I open the door. I shouldn’t be choking on fumes from my bedding when trying to sleep because the fabric softener is too overpowering. On a side note— as other reviewers have mentioned, my one star review is changed to a four star review after selecting “preview” before posting.
