I used to be a faithful Downy user. No more. First of all, if you shake it as the directions say, it pours out all over the place, not just from the spout. But the absolutely worst thing about it is that for some reason, it now leaves big blue spots all over my sheets and clothes. Sure they go away when I wash them again, but who wants that? I have tried many other fabric softeners and Downy is the only one that has ever left spots on my clothes. I've been using the "cheap" April fresh Downy since all the other products are ridiculously expensive in my opinion. I live alone so am only doing the wash for one person, but even so, I can find a lot better uses for the money I would spend on all the other Downy products.

My clothes hold the fragrance from wash to wash which is something that I enjoy and they feel a bit softer than before I started using it. Easy to use and mess free! Definitely going to keep this in my laundry room for future use!

i have always been a fan of downy but the original version doesnt last a long time on clothes after you have washed and stored them i was on a hunt for that perfect clothes softener that would not only make my clothes for but keep them smelling clean and good and this does the trick i highly recommend it. i was given this product to review for free my opinion stated is my own.

I have only ever used the yellow cap, but boy am I glad I have tried the pink cap now! The smell is fresh, not too heavy and lasts a good while. Actually, I washed my bedding and now my entire room smells so good! Downy keeps my fabrics soft and reduces pilling. I give this 5/5 stars!

Your clothes come out very soft and smelling wonderfully fresh, like a Spring Day. Best of all, they hold that fresh smell days to weeks after the wash. When you put your clothes on in the morning, it will bring a smile to your face.

By using a liquid fabric softener it allows my hang-dry clothing to stay soft once they are dried. This April Fresh fragrant is just right - not overpoweringly strong. I like how it makes my clothes feel and smell after they are dried. I would definitely purchase a full size for later!

Buying the April Fresh liquid was the best decision of my life so far. My clothes are so soft and smell so good I think to myself, "Where have you been all my life?". I have very sensitive skin, so I'd like to know what ingredients are in the product. There are a few reasons why this item will be in my cart the next time I go shopping. One, it was easy to use. Who doesn't like a product that's so simple? All I had to do was fill the liquid to the line to match the amount of laundry load I had, and pour it in my washing machine. That was it! Two, it smelled great. My husband actually commented on how our clothes smelled and felt different. Three, that oh so soft feeling! Our laundry is so soft, which makes our comfy clothes even comfier!

Downy Liquid Conditioner has elevated my laundry game, though! Scent: The fresh scent lasts longer - long enough to make my closet smell new and delightful. I don't know how they do that because the scent is also NEVER overwhelming. Softness: My clothes are still super soft, I haven't noticed a significant change. Still lovely. Wrinkles: No kidding. I didn't need to steam my sheets when I washed them! If I only used this on bedding, it would be worth it - but I noticed a lot of my clothing has fewer wrinkles, too! The only negative I could find when using Downy Liquid Conditioner was that it adds an extra step - not even really a whole step, though. It's already a habit for me.

I have sensitive skin and certain detergents/softeners will cause me to itch or give me a rash. I have never had an issue with Downy. The April Fresh scent is like flowers blooming on a spring day. The aroma is nice and it lasts for a while on my clothes and bed sheets. My guests always compliment the smell of my bed sheets when they visit me. Clothes come out super soft and fluffy after using Downy softner. I have been been even able to revive some old beach worn towels with my Downey!
