[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I like Downy as a fabric softener its my go to buy and has been for years. The scent is not overpowering at all and the clothes are soft and wrinkle free. it seems some items absorb the softness better then others, it won't make bad towels you have had forever suddenly soft again. For clothing it works better then on towels.

I have ALWAYS been a big fan of Downy fabric softener... But for a few years there, I strides financially and cut it out of the budget and kind if just forgot about Downy. Until recently! I had received a free sample of your product in the mail from Influenster and I was (once again) hooked! My laundry smells wonderful, I don't ever feel like I don't smell fresh and clean. I LOVE DOWNY!!

Downy also does a great job with keeping my daughter's uniforms fresh and that's not an easy task!! My 14 year old daughter plays soccer and runs track and is also a teenager and keeping her clothes fresh is something only the Downy brand can do!! Our clothes are always soft, fresh and free of static when I use Downy.

Not only do my clothes come out soft and supple feeling, they smell great, and retain that smell until their next wash. I use it in every wash in my Downy Ball, and that's the easiest way too include it in my wash cycle. It's super simple too add to your already simple laundry routine, and it's inexpensive. I love it.

The down side is the price. I feel the price is too high. If the price was lower, I would use Downy all the time and could recommend it to all of my friends, family and neighbors.

From the moment I opened the bottle I had a feeling I would love this product. It has a wonderful scent that makes you think of spring, even on the gloomiest of days.
