It brings back childhood memory of how walnut should taste, great quality!

Good black walnuts should have an earthy taste, different from regular walnuts. These tasted like paint solvents, meaning rancid.

These don't taste right at all. They have a very strong chemical smell and taste. Something not right. Returned.

bought today and opened and tried some of them and they were rancid and inedible, wished I sniffed them before popping some in my mouth( you can tell when they go rancid because they smell like paint thinner)

Terrible bitter chemical taste! Left nasty taste in your mouth and burn your throat. Uneatable! Did not taste at all like walnuts. I plan to take them back.

We just received our order. The nuts tasted like they were stored in helium. Terrible taste. We will not buy them again.

Packaging says these are good until 2026. Not sure if it's the way they were stored, but they have a chemical heavy taste.

Bag says 'fancy large' walnuts, implying they are intact walnut halves. There wasnt a piece bigger than a 1/4" diameter in the bag. They also tasted rancid....a strong, bitter, "off" taste.

They taste like the bag. Very disappointed. Best by date of June 10, 2026
