For best results, be sure to always place the Pod in the back of the drum before the garments, and always follow the instructions listed on the container to make sure you&#39;re using the detergent as intended. <br /><br />Additionally, soaking the affected garments overnight in warm water, and then rewashing the next morning on the hottest temperature permitted by the items care label with no laundry detergent should remove any leftover residue from the PODS.<br /><br />In the meantime, we&#39;d love to learn more about your experience and help you find the right detergent for you. We&#39;re so sorry to hear you had this experience with our Tide Power PODS &#43; Ultra OXI Laundry Detergent, Scott. It must upsetting that the PODS did not dissolve as you expected them to.<br /><br />This is definitely not the type of experience we want you to go through.<br /><br />So, please always use only the amount of PODS needed for your load size and soil level, and avoid overloading your machine, especially HE models that use less water. <br /><br />Overloading can trap detergent in clothes because items need space to move freely.<br /><br />Also, follow your machine’s recommended fill levels for best results:<br /><br />- Normal/cotton cycle: clothes should leave at least a hand’s gap to drum top<br />- Synthetic cycle: fill drum about 60% full<br />- Delicate/wool cycle: fill drum up to 40%<br />- Use the correct water temperature based on the garment’s care label. - Keep in mind cold water may be colder in winter.<br />- If using a dispenser, check water pressure and ensure there are no blockages to fully flush detergent into the drum.<br /><br />Now, to remove residue from fabric:<br /><br />- Rinse residue with warm water immediately.<br />- Rewash garment without detergent at the highest allowed temperature.<br />- If residue remains, soak overnight in water, and re-wash next day with no laundry detergent.<br /><br />Please contact us at (800) 879-8433 so we can hear more about this situation.
