This can happen if the pod doesn't dissolve fully due to factors like overloading the washing machine, incorrect dosing, or low water pressure. To help, always place the pod at the back of the drum before loading clothes, adjust the load size according to the cycle, and avoid using pods in pre-wash or for pre-treating stains. If clothes are stuck together, soak them overnight in water and rewash without detergent at the highest temperature allowed by the care label. For stains, let alcohol or hand gel soak in for 10 minutes before rewashing with one pod. Following these tips should help prevent residue and staining.
