We are sorry to hear about your experience! Tide Power PODS Ultra OXI and Tide Power PODS + Downy are designed to be used as one pac per load, with two pacs recommended only for very heavily soiled loads. They are twice the size of regular pods to provide a better clean but are formulated to work effectively in all types of machines and water temperatures, including normal-sized loads.
