We're sorry to hear you didn't like the scent, and we understand that the scent of the product on the clothes is a personal preference. It could be that incorrect dosage could be the cause of too much scent remaining after the wash, so we recommend using less. If you use a fabric softener, this can also affect the scent left on the clothes after the wash. Be sure that you're using the correct amount of product compared to load size/dirt levels, and if you are concerned about the scent on your clothes, try re-washing in another product or variant. Each variant (i.e. tablets, liquid, powder, liquitabs) has a different perfume, so trying a different form may help. We&#39;re sorry you found the scent too strong, and disliked how it lingered on your clothes, Dogit. A lot of thought goes into the design of our products to create features that we think you&#39;ll love, and our products are very safe when used as instructed on the label. We&#39;re also concerned that these PODS™ made you feel sick and itchy, and recommend that you discontinue use of this version. We recommend instead trying our Tide PODS Free &amp; Gentle which are hypoallergenic, with no added fragrance or dye.
