When I looked at the floor model of this unit, my instincts were to not buy this grill combo as it looked and felt cheap. I did anyways, and that is on me. If I can help someone else not buy this product, then maybe there is some redemption there. I will say the grates are the best part of the grill, but that's just lipstick on a pig. Everything else around it is garbage. The parts are cheap and takes many hours to put together. The handles have some kind of rust and slime right out of the box. If it has rust right out of the box, there is no way this grill has the staying power through the seasons. Now that it is assembled, the burners don't work. The gas is flowing, I have done countless leak checks but to no avail. My other mistake was cutting up all the boxes to recycle while I was unpacking it. Now I don't have the original packaging to return it. Hopefully, Sam's will take it as a return anyways. If not, I have a lawn ornament that looks like a grill. Save your money, look somewhere else for a grill.

Very nice grill lots of space on it and under for storage. Having the option to smoke, charcoal, or gas cook along with the searing option is great in one complete grill. Compared to prices of like products this is a great value for the money, assembly wasn't bad maybe had a couple hours into putting together very easy if follow instruction sheet.

Mine lasted 3 years till she rusted beyond repair. I did noticed the made some improvements to the design in the past few years but unless they change the metal Rusty will be your new friend. Like the concept like the design Hate the rust. Sorry won't purchase another one.

I bought this grill for my boyfriend less than 2 years ago. Within a year the metal that holds the cooking grate broke causing the cooking grate to fall. Within a matter of weeks the back of the grill blew out. There is now a hole in the back allowing air to come in making it impossible to hold any heat! About 6 months ago I did some research trying to contact the company and was not successful! We have now had to purchase another grill. Do not waste your money on this grill.... The metal is so thin it will not hold up!

I've had cheap grills all my life and decided this would a great upgrade and would last longer than buying a "disposable" grill every few years. Besides, if from Sams Club so the quality must be there, right?? This product is overpriced garbage. I even bought the company's cover thinking that would help prolong the life. The cover is complete garbage as well, but that's another review. This grill started showing an unusual amount of rust on the gas side during year 2 and by the end of the season the grate support on the left side was completely gone. I figured I'd pull it out fro season 3 this week and rig up something to support the grate, but upon further inspection discovered that the rust had gone completely through the box and the right side grate was barely hanging on. Going to the corner for the local scrappers now. I don't know if Weber is still what they used to be but I'm about to find out.

I have had this about 1.5 years now. great smoker and grill combo. The burner on the left is awesome for searing steaks. Even when you use the propane side you still will get a little of the flavors from the charcoal/smoker side if you use it a lot (which I do and like that added touch of flavor). Also great for when you are smoking food and just want to finish it off or rotate something else into the smoker - fire up the propane side and you are good to go. I do keep mine in a garage and out of weather when not in use since it is not stainless. I want to keep it as long as I can so I try to preserve it as best as possible. Would have given a higher score for value, but I noticed it has gone up in price by about 100 bucks since I bought it.

I have had this grill for about 3 months or so. Have been very impressed. First thing I did after setting it up was to make the recommended mods (find via google search) including getting a cover immediately. Has performed flawlessly. I will see how it does long term, but I seasoned it as the instructions recommend, and keep it clean and covered. Works well and provides great backyard cooking flexibility. Propane grill is excellent; I love the ability to cook over charcoal when desired (just tastes better!), and I used the offset smoker this weekend to make the best ribs I have ever made. Was easy to regulate the heat and I used a combo of charcoal briquettes and hickory logs (had to cut them in half to fit). Great product. LOVE IT. I have recommended this product to my 4 brothers.

I normally don't leave reviews but this grill was a disappointment. I love to cook and grill but day one the searing station cover was ruined from the heat of the grill. 2 of the burners blow out constantly. The igniter stopped working. The knobs didn't turn the burners on or off. I emailed the company who sent wrong part over and over then finally one replacement knob where I needed 5 total. They wanted me to register the grill but their site never works. Horrible quality and service from smoke hollow.

I bought this grill about 2 years ago and was thrilled with its multi-function capabilities. I've used the smoker and charcoal grill several times a month and the gas grill several times a week. All parts of the grill have functioned average or slightly above average. The problem with the grill is that there is significant rust all over the grill with the worst rust in the gas grill portion. The flame deflectors completely rusted away and have been replaced but the worst part is that the grill box has rusted away and no longer supports the grate. The rust has occurred in spite of continual attempts I have made to prevent it. This is a good grill for about 2 years but will not last.

My husband is an engineer and was so excited to receive this for Father's Day. Assembly was just as written in the book. There were even extra pieces! We have not used it yet and we will review it upon using it as a smoker, and as a grill. Well done to the Packaging crew who made sure all was safe, and in its place. All of the pieces were there, and that is an impressive feat alone!
