I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband. One of the tack-welds on the wheel is broken, so I am going to have to get the brand new grill repaired before we can even finish putting it together. :(

The grill is great and has so many cool and different features. But don't be fooled by the "easy assembly". There were about 75 different pieces and a package of a hundred plus screws nuts and bolts required to assemble everything. Only about half of the pieces were numbered and the instructions rarely refured to the coinciding numbers. Utilizing an empty garage and basic power tools the assembly time was about 3 hours.

Ok, make sure you have plenty of room to lay out the parts and do your assembly. All the parts were exceptionally packaged, so it took time to unwrap, but once the grill was assembled, for me, the few hours it took, was/is - well worth it! Have used it a couple of times already and the grill rocks! Many options to do many different types of cooking out doors!! The only downer is it's price tag, but hope it holds up and I have it many years...

This is our second one and we are very happy with our purchase. As we live in Florida within 5 miles of the Gulf, we realize no matter what grill we have rust will always be an issue but we have enjoyed it so far and I like it has 4 burners instead of 3. Plus you can't beat Smoke Hollow customer service for parts replacements.

I did a lot of research before settling on this grill. They have raised the price of it since previous models, but it is still coming in as the best bang for your buck. The possible issues to watch out for is rust. Take good care of it with cleaning and oiling after use and it will last. They also improved the ability to clean the unit with drawers to easily get to and clean grease and every part that would need to be cleaned easily comes out for this purpose. You will also want to make some adjustments to it for efficiency. Felt gasket all openings, get oven caulking for all welds and edges, and get the cover for protection. Sealing it really helped to keep a more consistent heat when smoking.

Originally loved the grill. Ordered one & received mine with a broken handle on the cover to the grill. Contacted the manufacturer to get replacement piece. When piece finally arrived it was a cheap handle (nothing like the handle the grill originally came with as a replacement. Customer service was not able to help me. I will NEVER purchase a product from them again. I paid for the pieces on the original grill, not some second hand cheap handle.

I have not used the grill but I wanted to make buyers aware that u will be putting this thing together. My husband is extremely handy we take on a lot of DIY and this grill took him about 4 hours! The overall concept is great since u have 4 components but it's a process to put together and I'm hoping it's worth it.

This grill was purchased to replace a similar grill that rusted out. i am pleased with gas cooking, in that there is more control of the heat than previous grill. the right side is for charcoal and the ember bed can be elevated or lowered as needed to adjust heat. the exhaust vent is adjustable on the charcoal side to keep all heat when smoking with the firebox or let some out.

I bought this grill just prior to the Memorial Day holiday weekend. I used it heavily that weekend and every thing seems OK so far. I paid someone to assemble the grill and it took close to 5 hours to assemble. I seems that the removable tray that is supposed to catch the ash from the charcoal is useless though.

Was very hesitant at first when purchasing this product. Price point was super inexpensive and yet the description was promising to deliver a lot. You do have to assemble the grill which, with the instructions is a bit of a pain. Overall the grill totally blew all expectations. All different cooking styles work great and give the different tastes to the way that you cook. Good investment.
