Very Nice

My wife and me put it together in the living room, took about 4.5 hours but we stopped for a couple of breaks. Directions are very good, no issues, great grill, its under our 15x40 covered patio, but would still like to have a cover for it and don't see one anywhere for it on the site.

Bought this grill last month

The grill is decent, but I used the third party assembly people to put it together. Do not do this. They took a week to show up. The searer was not installed properly and does not work. One of the burners stopped lighting the second time we used it (all four burners only light from the ignition - they will not light the adjacent one). The third party assembly company took no responsibility when contacted and referred me to the manufacturer.

Rusted beyond repair

I kept the grill covered with a smoke hollow cover. (didn't fit well) I started noticing severe corrosion at the beginning of last season. The grates are near failure, the flame deflectors are broken up, and the burners are shot. The grill is probably no more than 4 years old. Very disappointing

poor quailty

We bought this combo grill hoping it was a quality purchase. Within the first season of owning it , it showed signs of rusting out from the INSIDE. Season 2, sections of the grates broke off and all burner cover plates were rusted out , which we replaced but then the sides of the grill rusted away where the burner bars attach to the unit. Many other reviews comment on the short life span and rusting of this grill. Wont buy a smoke hollow again.

It does it all

Directions were good for putting it together. Did a great job smoking a brisket for our family reunion. It's handy having one piece of equipment to handle whatever style of cooking you choose. Only problem found was I had to load it myself. Glad I took my son as I am 66 and could not have done the loading. He was going to pick it up for me and found out that it was not allowed even though when I ordered it that was my 1 request and was not told otherwise by the order site. Found this out when I called the store prior to making the trip.

Smoker not what it should be. Not high quality par

I have used an older version of the grill for about 5 years. I have to paint it every year to prevent major just. The ignition system has never worked right, and i use lighters to light the burgers. The smoker works ok for smaller items or pork sholders, but since the heat rises on one side, a rack of ribs will burn on the end closest to the smoker box. Had to raise the grate in the smoker box to allow air under the coals. Hardware to get the temperature stabilized, and the thermometers have stuck since day one and need to tapped to read right temperature. An ok grilled, i guess, but I expected more.

Good stand while waiting on Weber

We looked at several grills to replace our 15-20 year old grill that I've kept limping along until this year. After looking at several options out there we decided on this one as a fill in till we can get a Weber with the features we want. It's obviously cheaply built (Chinese junk), and as another reviewer noted the very first part that you put together does not fit correctly, it gets better after that, but assembly is a very time consuming job. After assembly we tested the gas portion of the grill and I was really impressed with the flame quality and ignition time. I've used the charcoal side three times since. It cooks very quickly even with the coals at the bottom and the dampers shut. I think the smoker option allows too much air into the grill to really have any control over heat, so I just use less charcoal when grilling, not a bad thing. The charcoal tray grate is already sagging in the middle and the paint is starting burn away/peel from the bottom of it. The gas side of the grill is hotter in the front, which seems to be the norm, but it's not terrible. My last grill was $600 and it had horrible inconsistencies in heating everywhere. I have not tried the smoker box, I own an electric smoker, and after trying my hand at charcoal smoking on a different grill, this feature will probably not see any use? I also have not used the seer burner other than to test its operation, plan is to trade it out for a side burner. Sam's doesn't carry a cover large enough for this grill, we picked one up at HD. As cheaply as this grill is made, I think it's a wise investment. We initially said if we got through the season with this grill we would upgrade in the winter when grills are cheaper, but so far I'm enjoying this grill and who knows it may surprise us and last two seasons?

Junk - Pure TRASH - Buy a Weber

I just want to say that I am extremely unhappy with this piece of junk. I purchased this grill about four years ago from Sams Club for $370, and after one season these happened. Keep in mind that I kept this grill covered by the exact fit grill cover when not in use. 1. Rust appeared on a few spots. 2. The knob on the charcoal side broke off because of rust under the knob. 3. One of the wheels just broke in two pieces and it was unbalanced after that. 4. Got harder and harder to ignite. Two Seasons. 5. Flavor bars had holes in them. 6. Smoke Hollow Grill cover dry rotted. Four Seasons. 7. Final straw - the propane cable plastic that connects to the tank broke while making dinner. I'm done. I pulled out my 11-year-old Weber and bought parts and it works like a champ. I would be ashamed to sell such pure junk. I honestly didn't want to give it one star, it's not worth it.

Love this grill!

After 3 hours of putting it together, I am very pleased with the versatility of this gril l/ smoker! You can use gas or charcoal or both at the same time.
