After having this grill for 6 months all of the inside of the handles melted which meant you cant turn the burners on and off properly which if you dont turn off your propane tank gas will leak out. Then after 9 months the outside paint above the handles started peeling. We couldnt find a cover big enough in stores for it and the one Sam's carried ripped due to size. Now after almost a year the igniter cables look like they've caught fire and fell out of the holes. Extremely sad with this purchase seeing as how the gas grill we bought from walmart before this one had lasted us 3 years with no defects other than needing new tube burners for gas flow.

My wife and me put it together in the living room, took about 4.5 hours but we stopped for a couple of breaks. Directions are very good, no issues, great grill, its under our 15x40 covered patio, but would still like to have a cover for it and don't see one anywhere for it on the site.

We looked at several grills to replace our 15-20 year old grill that I've kept limping along until this year. After looking at several options out there we decided on this one as a fill in till we can get a Weber with the features we want. It's obviously cheaply built (Chinese junk), and as another reviewer noted the very first part that you put together does not fit correctly, it gets better after that, but assembly is a very time consuming job. After assembly we tested the gas portion of the grill and I was really impressed with the flame quality and ignition time. I've used the charcoal side three times since. It cooks very quickly even with the coals at the bottom and the dampers shut. I think the smoker option allows too much air into the grill to really have any control over heat, so I just use less charcoal when grilling, not a bad thing. The charcoal tray grate is already sagging in the middle and the paint is starting burn away/peel from the bottom of it. The gas side of the grill is hotter in the front, which seems to be the norm, but it's not terrible. My last grill was $600 and it had horrible inconsistencies in heating everywhere. I have not tried the smoker box, I own an electric smoker, and after trying my hand at charcoal smoking on a different grill, this feature will probably not see any use? I also have not used the seer burner other than to test its operation, plan is to trade it out for a side burner. Sam's doesn't carry a cover large enough for this grill, we picked one up at HD. As cheaply as this grill is made, I think it's a wise investment. We initially said if we got through the season with this grill we would upgrade in the winter when grills are cheaper, but so far I'm enjoying this grill and who knows it may surprise us and last two seasons?

We wanted to LOVE this grill. We saw it at Sam's Club last season 2019 and said when this spring came around we would get it. Finally bought it in April of 2020. It had everything we wanted, the side smoke box, large gas grill area ect... However from the beginning we had issues. The igniter button kept clicking so we had to unscrew it and remove the battery after lighting the grill. Not a huge deal but was kind of a bummer. Then the 4th knob wouldn't turn without taking the cover off and manually turning it with your finger. Okay....we dealt with it since I rarely use the 2nd half of the grill. Then we smoked a brisket on it. It did not turn out well....the whole thing tasted like ash (we smoke a lot so we have experience on how to do it correctly). But maybe we did something wrong....then the nexdt day noticed that the smoker area paint was completely bubbled up....We brushed it off and it immediately began to rust. It also caught fire because it got so HOT it ignited the fresh drippings in the drip pan which was designed to sit way to close to the actual flames. Finally got mad, loaded the whole thing up in my truck and returned it to Sam's Club. They were in shock about how bad it looked, paint peeling and the rust. It was 6 weeks old so still under Sam's warranty (thank goodness) so they gave us our money back. Trust me, we really really wanted this grill but it was one of the worst purchases we have ever made. It looks nice but is designed and manufactured poorly.

I purchased this for my husband as a joint Birthday and Father's Day gift. We searched around for something like this for a long time. Many of them were A LOT more pricer than this. It's a great buy for the money...so far we've only used the propane, but look forward to using the other options soon! I am about the purchase the cover right now, but I'm sure if taken good care of, this grill will last us a while! It took my husband and his brother a few hours to put together, but the overall stability is awesome! We've moved it from our garage to our backyard several times (bc we didn't have a cover and didn't want to leave it in the rain) with no problems!

We bought this combo grill hoping it was a quality purchase. Within the first season of owning it , it showed signs of rusting out from the INSIDE. Season 2, sections of the grates broke off and all burner cover plates were rusted out , which we replaced but then the sides of the grill rusted away where the burner bars attach to the unit. Many other reviews comment on the short life span and rusting of this grill. Wont buy a smoke hollow again.

This is a nice grill for the money. The instructions were very detailed, which made it easy to assemble. I have used the charcoal and smoker side and it holds temperature nice for most of the day for pulled pork. I have not tried the gas side yet, but I am sure I will soon.

My wife bought this as a Father's Day gift for me. It was supposed to be an awesome surprise and had quite a few family members and friends over for a cookout. Well, we could not get the gas burners to light using the switch or manually. I smell gas but there was none coming to the burners for lighting. I unhooked the regulator hose to inspect it and make sure there was good flow. This lead to the discovery that the regulator hose was leaking from the regulator itself. Can we say very dangerous. Family ,friends ,kids leaking hose out the box. I called the mfg Monday morning and was told to take pictures and email them. I did so immediately. I received a returned email confirmation they were processing and would send replacement parts. I wait till Friday to followup because I did not receive a tracking number. I was then told they missed the cutoff and will mail items Monday. I again wait to followup m, this time on Thursday. The lady I spoke with said she only had the regulator hose and it will be sent tomorrow. The knob that was broken and the rusted handle (out the box mind you) would not be sent until early September.. is this a joke. I was lied to twice, then told it would be three months for replacement parts. I am beyond upset. After spending hours putting this together, I don't have a pickup to take it back. Also I don't want to spend the time putting another one together. Sam's told me I could return it and they would give me a new boxed one.. to out together again. Madness. Two weeks and a 4 in one grill I can only use the charcoal side...

This Grill was purchased for my birthday. I was excited to get a grill that offered so much. Gas, searing burner, charcoal, and smoker. As with other reviews it was a pain in the butt to assemble. Once I used it it was great. However after about three to four uses there were problems. Rust starting to form.

I have used an older version of the grill for about 5 years. I have to paint it every year to prevent major just. The ignition system has never worked right, and i use lighters to light the burgers. The smoker works ok for smaller items or pork sholders, but since the heat rises on one side, a rack of ribs will burn on the end closest to the smoker box. Had to raise the grate in the smoker box to allow air under the coals. Hardware to get the temperature stabilized, and the thermometers have stuck since day one and need to tapped to read right temperature. An ok grilled, i guess, but I expected more.
