I use these in soups, casseroles and pasta dishes. A little greasy when fried up (drain and pat dry with paper towels) but great flavor

strange flavor and oddly spongy. a bit of a chemical taste. maybe a bad batch? I don't know but I will not buy again when there are other brands that actually taste decent.

This smoked sausage goes so well with peppers and onions over penne pasta. This makes such a wonderful easy supper, and so delicious. This sausage tastes great.

Good product but im not used to the tough casing. Was weird to cut. Taste was ok. I fryed with eggs. Put into a soup. Tried as a sandwich but harder to bite thru. Im just not used to this brand or maybe type.

this has a gross chemical after taste. I've had the same experience with the last two products i purchased from eckridge. the other product i purchased was from another store. nothing worse than throwing food out.

This sausage is great for breakfast or cooked in dishes such as pasta, beans, or gumbo. We aren't crazy about spicy foods, and it has a tasty flavor without being spicy at all. It's a good value, also!

Decent price for the size. Main drawback is that the sausage is packaged in one huge link, so you need to break it down and repackage for the freezer the minute you get home from shopping. Still, nicely versatile item for quick and tasty dinners.

I've always enjoyed Eckrich Hardwood Smoked Sausage, but the quality seems to have slipped. Found pieces of hard cartilage or bone in several of the links.
