Best window unit for 2 car garage. I have a 24 x 24, with 576 sq ft on ground floor, 2 story garage. Walls and roof are insulated. No inslation between upstars and downstairs. The lower area is a 1 bay garage/office and 1 bay machine shop. For 23 years I have been using a 10k unit on the right wall with a 5k unit on the left wall. Big unit could not cool it all. After 23 years the big one barely got it down to 80° on a 95° day. Small one died. I had to run a floor fan to supplement the warm air. Garage electric bill for June was $125 more than the avg summer bill. Shopped my tail off. Kept coming back to the Midea 12k btu inverter a/c. After 10 days use I am amazed. Installation was a breeze. Instructions and packaging was great. Remote has nice features. The unit is very quiet. It is an inverter type so it slowly and quietly gets up to programmed temp and fan speed. Like the oscillating vertcal vents. Pumps cold air across my garage. Actually gets cold in my entire garage if set to colder temp. I set it at 74° and it is very comfrtable on thee summer days,Almost bought a 2nd for the opposit wall. I do not need a 2nd a/c now. Timer can be set in 1/2 hour incremets. Paid for the $39 extended warranty. All in total was $391. I am exremely happy.

We bought ours a year ago. Our weather has been over 100 for months and it is in direct sun but we can not get our home to maintain below 79 degrees. It’s frustrating. At first if seemed ok but we wondered it it really was how it was supposed to work. Now we have to put a fan in front to get any kind of cool air to get to the side of room. Our home is 900 sq ft and we also have 2 smaller window units in 2 of the other rooms to circulate. Not sure what to do as we can not take it back to Sam’s Club.

More than expected. Very cold! I love is smart and i can control with my phone! No a notice diffence in the electricity bill.

Super super quiet! Really pumps out cold air incredibly good! Only down side is it never shuts off !!

I looked online and compared prices to the BTU units and this one was the best for the price. Good lil unit and cools my house off quick.

Works perfectly to cool the rooms I needed. Best thing though is being able to adjust from my smart phone from anywhere.

I have an LG 8,000 BTU that I’ve had for 4/6 years and I feel like my LG is stronger and cools down faster than this new 12,000 BTU one.. Which my LG is in a bigger room than the Midea one…

It blasts cold air across my large room, but the Smart Home app is the real MVP. It connected instantly, lets me skip using the regular remote entirely, and lets me set custom cooling schedules from anywhere.

Cooled down room pretty quickly. Very Quiet barely knew it was running. Based on model number on owners manual the one I got is not a smart model %26 so cannot connect to wifi/app features tho. Heavy unit but managed install without help.

Best purchase we made ! It’s so quiet and keeps our living room ice cold we have to keep it on low most the time with how cold it gets so happy with it on these 90 degree days ! .
