Same fuel, same repellent - but this model has worked much better in the same environment and under the same conditions as the Bristol model which I tried first. No issues, on either model, with the fuel canister, getting the lamp lit or the repellent pads as some have noted. The lantern being independent of the repellent function is great.

For some reason, mosquitos love to hang around our back and side yard. I've made sure there is no standing water, but they seem to find some attraction and they love to snack on us. A good friend suggested I try these products since they work well for him when he goes camping. I bought 2 lanterns and 1 patio shield at the beginning of May. I will admit my son and I were skeptical, but they work great! Mosquitos buzz around but these work so well that we haven't been bit yet!! Even house flies seem to avoid us. My son was so sold that he is buying some for his house!! Totally recommend and would buy again!! Thanks, Thermacell!!!

I was extremely skeptical when I purchased the Cambridge repellent patio lantern, but am happy to report that it actually works! We use it in our outdoor gazebo in the evenings and at night and no one leaves with mosquito bites. There is no odor, no chemicals to wash off your body, and the repellent pad takes about 5 seconds to replace. The lantern is decorative so the system is inconspicuous as well. We have used this all summer and I just bought a replacement pack. Love it!

I live in Louisiana and spend a lot of evenings outdoors. I have tried so many different products to repel mosquitoes and bugs in general. Everything from the tennis racket looking zapper, candles, big bug zappers, tiki torches with bug repellent oil, plants. Everything! I saw this lantern and thought I would give it a try and if it didn’t work I would at least still have a new lantern. Well, let me tell you, this light weight lantern/repellent packs a big punch! I love it and it is one of my favorite things that I own!! IT WORKS SO WELL!! NOT ONE MOSQUITO BITE LAST SPRING OR SUMMER!! Plus it keeps spiders, June Bugs and other bugs away from the area. I love this product and highly recommend it!!! The lantern comes in handy as well. I have used it much more than I thought I would.

I had ordered this a month ago but just had the chance to use it on the Fourth of July. I took it to a BBQ at my son's house. We usually get eaten alive from all of the mosquitos and other biting insects. I had it on the whole day in his backyard and not one of us was bitten. It was amazing.

I am a mosquito magnet and am constantly in search of something to help me enjoy being outside without having to douse myself with bug spray. We purchased the patio lantern and couldn't be happier. Once the lantern heats up the mosquitos are gone and they stay away for hours. Now I can enjoy being on my deck without layers of bug spray and itchy bumps the next day. Thanks Thermacell......what a great product!

Bought this Lantern probably 3 yrs ago has worked great till I went to put in new batteries and the spring broke that holds the battery in place.... Do you repair or do you have a total replacement part for the bottom. I have use your products since they came on the market Thanks

We had other Thermacell products but no lantern. During our garage sale, I had to lay the holster model on the floor. When I saw the lantern model, I thought it was a great addition for camping. I love that it sits on the picnic table in the middle without any support out of the way yet close by. The kids can't reach it and it looks nice too. So far, we are very satisfied as we have seen no mosquitoes landing!

I bought this for my mom for Mother's Day and it's a great product. We use it camping, when we grill, sitting by the pool, and more. It is just nice knowing that we are safe from all the nasty bugs here in Florida. I would recommend this product for any outside situation.

Incredible product. I have owned and used the hand held Thermacell before for spring Turkey hunting and early fall hunting and they work like a charm. The Patio lantern is all that I expected from Thermacell. It keeps a good zone clear of any pests while we are outside on our deck. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wishes to take back the outdoors from bugs and skeeters.
