This is my second year with the thermacell lantern. And, I loved it up until yesterday, 4th of July. It has been very effective. Yesterday it was not working and when I checked it, it was very hot and smoking. Had it under the patio umbrella, so it was not in the hot sun. What happened, and can it be fixed? It would have been better if you had contact information on your website.

We bought the product due to great reviews, however on our first night using it we still had mosquitos all around us and the product was properly installed and working (it lets off a mild odor). We were so excited to get it because my young child is allergic to mosquitos, however we were let down.

We have low lying property that the mosquito's LOVE to breed and thrive in. It made sitting outside for an early evening glass of wine almost impossible (also given that our two panting Corgis are natural attractants). Bought this two weeks ago and it's AMAZING! Literally don't even think about the bugs now...Love~Love~Love. Would suggest two spaced apart if you are really swamped with mosquito's.

I do love this product, what I don't love is that I have to change the cartridge every single use!? It's quite expensive and usually I only use for about 3 hours each time. I of course turn it off and found out recently that if I unscrew the cartridge it will last, however that is NOT in the instructions and I seem to have wasted quite a bit of money so far.

I am a mosquito magnet and am constantly in search of something to help me enjoy being outside without having to douse myself with bug spray. We purchased the patio lantern and couldn't be happier. Once the lantern heats up the mosquitos are gone and they stay away for hours. Now I can enjoy being on my deck without layers of bug spray and itchy bumps the next day. Thanks Thermacell......what a great product!

Was very happy when I found the lantern, unfortunately after 3 months it did not ignite anymore.....as I had still mats I bought another product, a handheld one....after using it 3 x week for 2 months, i found it one morning leaking out the fuel...huge mess on the wooden table and a full cartridge lost. Mats and cartridges are not cheap so I would wish that at least the pieces would last

I've been using this for a couple days on and off thinking it may be working. I changed the pad and it had been on for 30 min or so. It was sitting at my feet. It was working; I could smell it. I look down, and I'm being bitten my a mosquito. There was no wind.

I live in Louisiana and spend a lot of evenings outdoors. I have tried so many different products to repel mosquitoes and bugs in general. Everything from the tennis racket looking zapper, candles, big bug zappers, tiki torches with bug repellent oil, plants. Everything! I saw this lantern and thought I would give it a try and if it didn’t work I would at least still have a new lantern. Well, let me tell you, this light weight lantern/repellent packs a big punch! I love it and it is one of my favorite things that I own!! IT WORKS SO WELL!! NOT ONE MOSQUITO BITE LAST SPRING OR SUMMER!! Plus it keeps spiders, June Bugs and other bugs away from the area. I love this product and highly recommend it!!! The lantern comes in handy as well. I have used it much more than I thought I would.

I bought this for a camping trip with a friend and her 5 year old who has very allergic reactions to mosquito bites. With this lantern and the Radius, we were all fairly itch free. The Thermacell's made for some very enjoyable nights around the campfire.

I was extremely skeptical when I purchased the Cambridge repellent patio lantern, but am happy to report that it actually works! We use it in our outdoor gazebo in the evenings and at night and no one leaves with mosquito bites. There is no odor, no chemicals to wash off your body, and the repellent pad takes about 5 seconds to replace. The lantern is decorative so the system is inconspicuous as well. We have used this all summer and I just bought a replacement pack. Love it!
