I bought this as a last resort after looking up information on the internet on the best mosquito prevention. My grandson and daughter get attacked every time they are outside, and I was wanting something for our back yard patio and didn’t want to use repellent every time we stepped outside. This product ROCKS!! I couldn’t believe how effective it is! We can now enjoy the swing in the patio and my grandson can play without being attacked. In addition, I also purchased the travel one that you clip on your belt or stroller or whatever you want, and it’s awesome because you can take it on walks or camping,etc. I love this product and have already ordered two of the lanterns for Christmas gifts!

We have used these for our last 2 dinner parties. No mosquitoes by the table, even though much further away on the lawn, someone found one on their arm. So, the zone idea really worked where we needed it. Buy extra cartridges and REMEMBER to turn them off! Happy Customer!

I am a mosquito magnet and am constantly in search of something to help me enjoy being outside without having to douse myself with bug spray. We purchased the patio lantern and couldn't be happier. Once the lantern heats up the mosquitos are gone and they stay away for hours. Now I can enjoy being on my deck without layers of bug spray and itchy bumps the next day. The plague is over! We tried everything to repel those biting girls - burned so many citronella candles you could see us from space; slathered ourselves in "natural" repellent ("natural" meaning the mosquitoes know they won't get hurt if they bite you); etc - all to no avail. We read numerous on-line reviews all of which touted Thermacell as the only viable option. What was there to lose? Not being seen from space? So we got two and put them on our deck. Voila! No bites, no annoying buzz (other than what we were drinking) and peace, at last, to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. Our deck is large so we bought two lanterns and set them on either end. It does help to set them up half an hour or so prior to going out. NASA, you can take us off your radar because we'll be sitting back and enjoying our nightly cocktails in peace. I bought this for my mom for Mother's Day and it's a great product. We use it camping, when we grill, sitting by the pool, and more. It is just nice knowing that we are safe from all the nasty bugs here in Florida. I would recommend this product for any outside situation.

We put a lot of work in our backyard and enjoy sitting out in the evenings, at least until the mosquitoes run us in. Since we have purchased our Thermacell product, the mosquitoes no longer bother us and we are happy to have our evenings back. The product truly works.

I bought this because I use a Thermocell on the patio to keep mosquitoes off the cats and away from the back door. Unlike the other Thermocell I have, you cannot tell if this is lit or not until it heats up. I really like the light feature because it reminds me I have it on, so I know to turn it off once everyone is in for the night.

I live in South Atlanta where the bugs are big and always mosquitos flying around. We used this lantern on our back deck that’s able to keep the bugs away while we are cooking on the grill or just enjoying outside. I def recommend it and it’s so easy to hook up. It’s best if you allow it to work 10 Mins before you go outside, i def see it working.

I have had this lantern for 2 years now. I had ordered this a month ago but just had the chance to use it on the Fourth of July. I took it to a BBQ at my son's house. We usually get eaten alive from all of the mosquitos and other biting insects. I had it on the whole day in his backyard and not one of us was bitten. It was amazing.
