We bought a portable thermacell for camping and I was so impressed we bought a couple of these patio shield lanterns and I couldn’t be happier I did. The price you pay for these (very reasonably priced) is well worth being able to enjoy the outdoors without being eaten by mosquitoes!!! I now own multiple different models of thermacell and never venture outdoors without one. Best thing is, every one of my different models use the same fuel and Matts so it makes it very convenient and versatile. Love love love all of my thermacells.

I live on a lake in the Houston area where it is really hot and muggy and the mosquitos are profuse and prolific! I'm sure that small animals that have gone missing were actually carried off by the mosquitos. I purchased two of these for my porch, two for my patio and two of the personal ones to use when working in the yard. They work like a charm to keep the mosquitos, noseeums, gnats and other pests away. They work when candles, torches, sprays, etc didn't. I seem to be a mosquito magnet and they never bother me when I use these products.

Turn it on and mosquitoes are gone! No better way to explain it! Before this product, I spent my summers dreading going outside, even in my own yard because of mosquitoes. I had no other choice than to stay inside because I am actually severely allergic to mosquitoes. But I have to fear no more! The Thermacell Cambridge Lantern has destroyed that fear (and all the nearby mosquitoes). Thank you Thermacell for making my yard enjoyable again. Not to mention, it is nice and sleek looking, so no one will even know it is a bug repellent; it looks just like my other outside lights. My only complaint is that I only have one! I need more! I would highly recommend this to anyone and everyone.

This is our third year using our Thermacell lanterns and we love them. Other's claim to work but, Thermacell really does. They are much better than dousing yourself down with spray repellants that contain chemicals that you can't even pronounce. Not to mention, those chemicals soaking into you skin. We just light them up and the mosquitoes seem to disappear. They are effective whether sitting on our back deck or sitting around a fire at a campground. We will keeep using them as long as they keep making them. Because they really work.

I brought this to join my sister and her family while camping. The mosquitos were very aggressive initially, but after 30 minutes it clearly repelled insects, allowing us to enjoy a picnic-table lunch in peace. Wonderful when a product works as it says. Instructions were helpful and clear.

Works wonders! Keeps the bugs away & we can enjoy summer nights outside without being bothered by the bugs. We even started buying them as gifts for family & friends because of the size, value & how much it works. Really disappointed to see that this size was discontinued. Thermacell needs to bring it back.

This lantern really does the trick! I am usually swarmed by mosquitoes so I couldn't wait to try this out. I am very pleased that this seems to do the trick and without having to use a spray or have an open flame which means it's great to use around my kids. I love this and would definitely recommend trying it out.

I bought my Thermacell lantern due to my BFF recommending I get one because it keeps all the noseeums & mosquitoes away. I was skeptical, but now a true believer!! I can sit on my back lanai in the mornings, drink my coffee and enjoy the sunrise. Highly recommend this product.

I love these lanterns....they do a great job with the mosquitos in my yard. I have two on my tiki bar and they have really done an incredible job with control of bugs. Having a light to turn off also reminds me to shut the butane off when we go in for the evening. Very happy with this product.

It does not put out a lot of light, but that is what I wanted. I use mine with or without the light just for the repellent, but the light itself is very useful as well. It really keeps the bugs away and it is bright enough to read by. Perfect for the camp site. I used it last year in my Jeep for 4th of July with he top off watching fireworks. Totally amazed with how well it keeps the creepy crawlers at bay !
